Overwiew

The Finestrellas apartment is located on the ground floor of the house we live for many years (we live on the first floor) is very spacious and has a magnificent terrace of 42m2 to have breakfast, lunch and dinner with family or friends (the weather in Barcelona is always very mild). It is decorated with Mediterranean style and is very comfortable to rest. It is ideal for families and groups of friends, also for interns from the University of Erasmus, business school ESADE or medicine at Hospital Sant Joan de Deu and also for professionals who wish to attend the Congress Palace of Catalunya Fairs or Barcelona Montjuïch.

Facilities

It has two bedrooms with two beds each, two bathrooms (one with shower and one single), a large fully equipped kitchen, a large living room, WIFI and TV, and terrace with terrace furniture.
Urban Transports

To go downtown just to go down to the bus stops that are within 50m from de hause’s door. Buses 63 and 68 (carried Plaça Universitat and Plaça Catalunya, 45 minutes) 22 leads to Plaça Catalunya down to Paseo de Gracia where are the Gaudi buildings, about 60 minutes) and 78 left Estació de Sants (train). You can check these routes in Google maps. The subway (metro Zona Universitaria, line 3 - green -, arrival Ramblas in 20 minutes) is 900m and to reach it you take a pleasant 12 minutes walk through a beautiful park of roses, Parc Cervantes, and to come home from the metro (Zona Universitaria) you can catch the EP1 or JM buses which are located right next to the metro stop (behind the Faculty of Economy and Bussines) and drop you off at two stops below the house.
Environment

In our environment you can breathe clean air and tranquility because we are some distance from the pollution and noisy city center. Just leaving the house you can take a walk through natural surroundings of the Natural Park of Collserola, where you can find many sports joggers or cyclists, and numerous people walking their dog.
Around there is a pharmacy, two restaurants (great Catalan food and one Basque food) and cafe / bakery where you can buy or eat breakfast. Large supermarkets are a 5 minute drive or three bus stops. Some major shopping centers in Barcelona (two or three) are three metro stops or 15 minutes by bus (63 and 78).
Interaction with guests
The apartment is independent and the whole apartment is available for guests, as well as appliances, furniture and equipment.
We receive guests at the time of handing over the keys and provide complete independence. If there is a problem or need some information we are always available to help or inform.

To access the apartment from the airport you can get:
By taxi (18 minutes). Important: you must tell the taxi driver to take you behind the Hospital Sant Joan de Deu and park opposite the Hotel Abba Garden. Our house is opposite the hotel (the green with vines). It is important to name the hospital because there is another street with the same name in another distant part of Barcelona.
By car you enter Barcelona by the Ronda de Dalt and our exit is nº10 (Pedralbes-Hospital de Sant Joan de Deu) and just follow the signs to the hospital. Our house is just behind the Hospital. Parking is easy, free and safety.
To come from the airport by public transport (one hour):
Take train to Plaça Espanya. Take metro line 3 (green) direction to Zona Universitaria and there are two options:
1. Get off at Zona Universitaria and walk up the hill (15 minutes but hard with luggage). Or catch the blue buses EP1 and JM (stop is located behind the Faculty of Economics and Business), that in four stops leave in the hospital. The Faculty is opposite the Metro and buses run until 21: 30h.
2. Get off at Sants Stació and take the bus 78 which goes straight and stops in front of the Hospital.
