Bambura Hermosa villas

It‘s basically a cabin in the woods, but with excellent infrastructure. A/C, warm water, fridge, fully equipped kitchen, cell service, and internet. It‘s pure paradise. If you have a 4x4, the drive is a bit wild, but easily doable, even in heavy rain. After a few drives it becomes second nature. Also, I recommend to go to bed early, as the chickens are quite noisy haha.

It could have been a bit cleaner, and I would have appreciated better internet (Starlink).

Beautiful property in the mountains of Uvita. The room was tidy and exactly as pictured. Loved the wildlife and the surrounding landscape.

The roads leading up to the property and in front are pretty bad. Even with a 4x4 it can get tricky especially when it rains. Ubers can be difficult to get and dropoffs can be tricky as not all cars are equipped for the road.

We loved our stay here. The cabin has everything you need (sugar, utensils, etc. in the kitchen, shampoo in bathroom, pool towel), has a great view of the jungle and you can hear tons of birds and howler monkeys, and is a short drive from the town which we loved as we prefer the quiet of the area. The pool and washing machine were added perks, and the hosts are extremely nice as well! We will definitely come back.

Plenty hot water. Nice tiny plunge pool. Good landscaping. Had parking for the car and a gate that locks. Good shelves in bedroom. Hooks on back of bathroom door. Full length mirror on back of bedroom door. Bedroom window darkening shades for both windows. Ceiling fans and regular room fan. Plenty of appliances. Bedside lamp. Amazing porch area with hammock and beautiful wood table and bench. Drying rack outside. Sturdy Hangers available. Staff brought a tea kettle for me and we had a lovely chat and shared my fruit and she gave me a few lemons of hers. Great fridge. Great to have 2 sofas.

Noisy with chickens and motorbikes on the nearby roads. The sheets smelled moldy mildewy wet. The ac was only in bedroom and not general sitting area. No extra blankets or sheets for floor mattresses. No safe. Only 2 tiny hooks in bedroom and one in unreachable spot. Darkening shade not long enough for bedroom window. No shades for living room screen. Ceiling fans very high up. Exposed hyper bright white bulbs very unattractive and too bright. Dirty bathroom window with bird poop on it. Drying rack rusted so unusable for good clothes. Only four hangers available. Little water leaking from fridge. Both AC unit and fridge vibrate and make loud noise that makes sleep difficult at times and had to be shut off or unplugged. 2 sofas were not very comfy.
