The bed was great!! Quiet street, big room, some nice coffee shops in the street and a laundry only 5 minutes walk away. No one spoke English but the maid was lovely and very helpful with her phone translater.

I have a bad knee so the steps were a bit difficult, but they gave me a first floor room, so not too many steps.

The location is brilliant, in a lovely leafy neighbourhood, close to wonderful coffee shops, independent clothing and accessory stores, mini marts, bars and restaurants. The host was very responsive when I needed anything e.g. new towels and bathmat, fix the toilet and a slightly later checkout. I could not get the shower hot - but that may have been my fault. The fridge was clean and the furniture (dining table, sofa) was good. The room had a safe and ample hanging space and hangers.

Lighting in bathroom was not good. The only mirror was in low lit bathroom. Aircon blasted straight onto the bed from opposite wall. Only one waste basket in the bathroom. The bed was adequate - I wouldn't say comfortable the sheets were clean. The pillows were lumpy but okay. I knew there was no lift and only had hand luggage. I would not have managed by myself on the spiral staircase to the third floor if I'd a large suitcase/s

The villa was spacious and was reasonably close to restaurants

There was water dripping from the ceiling from the AC unit and the bed was quite hard

I stayed here for one week. The location is very good – in a quiet area, yet still quite central, with plenty of cafés, restaurants, and the beach within easy reach. The accommodation itself was comfortable, but it would benefit from a deep cleaning. In particular, the curtains and sofa could use thorough washing and refreshing. The cleaning lady was the only staff member I interacted with during my stay. She was lovely, friendly, and very helpful despite the language barrier.

Unfortunately, the biggest issue was communication. Before my arrival, I sent an inquiry through the Booking.com chat but never received a reply. There were also no check-in instructions provided. When I arrived, there was no staff on site, and I had to call the contact number several times. The person did not answer initially, and I ended up waiting around 20–30 minutes before I could check in. Before check-out, I sent a WhatsApp message asking about the possibility of extending my stay, but once again, I received no response.
