Come enjoy the beautiful views and the local horses, cows, goats, ducks and chickens. Sip coffee on the spacious front porch, paddle around the pond, or enjoy a yard game on the three spacious acres. At night, listen to the sounds of crickets and bullfrogs as you roast marshmallows by the fire. Star gazing is a must!!! The property has a small pond that is fed by a fresh water spring. Whether you feel like floating under the sun, paddling a kayak or taking a dip, come down to the dock and have a blast. If you would like to get out and about, there are many attractions just a short drive away. We had a wonderful week at the farm house! Our family had so much fun exploring the property and enjoying all of the animals. The location offers easy access to a variety of family friendly hikes and activities - and it’s absolutely beautiful. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We even got some fresh eggs :) Highly recommend staying here!

This property was great! We are a family of 5 including 3 kids ages 10, 12, & 13. Our kids absolutely loved how much there was to do on site! They swam, fished, kayaked, and roasted marshmallows over the campfire after spending the days hiking at Mt. Mitchell and right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are so many animals to interact with. I fell in love with “Larry” the resident tom cat, and my daughter and I held kittens that the property owner brought over. They also had chickens that hung out eating in the yard and goats in their respective corral. It was perfectly relaxing. We would definitely book this property again.

Everything was clean and organized. Stayed with my fiancé and 2 pups. We had to leash them when outside. The Big Ivy trail was closed to vehicles and so the exploring with my older pups was more limited in the area. The only complaint I have is the water has a sulfur smell. Would stay again if that was fixed! The area is very beautiful and all the farms around are exactly the type of place we love to be!
