- You should book transportation through us - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, AS THIS BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY IS UP IN THE HILLS, AND YOU WILL NEED TRANSPORTATION TO GET TO AND FROM FROM THE BEACH, JACO, ETC. We will provide an a/c minivan and English-speaking driver for first and last-day airport transfers (each van will take up to a maximum of six guests; groups of 7-12 people will require an additional airport transfer at an additional cost) and for driver/concierge services during the day. PLEASE NOTE that: the minivan rates are $200.00 per vehicle for airport transfers ($150.00 for a second minivan if there are more than six guests, and $175.00 per day for driver/concierge with 24-hour availability. Pay the driver directly for the services booked. He can also book tours and excursions.

Playa Hermosa’s world-class surfing beach is one of Costa Rica’s prime water sports destinations. A lure for serious surfers, Playa Hermosa hosted the ISA Billabong World Games (2009) and the ISA World Surfing Games (2016). You can see the enticing waves from the villa. Its beachfront restaurants and tourist attractions are an easy 10-minute drive from the villa.

ATV enthusiasts will delight in exploring the miles and miles of nearby, seldom-traveled rural gravel roads behind the townhouse villa that take you through the mountains, forests, small villages, and green pastures.

The villa has six fully air-conditioned ocean-view bedrooms. In every bedroom and throughout this marvelous home, there is little standing between you and the wonders of Costa Rica's sublime natural beauty.

Each comfortable living room with spacious balcony has satellite/cable TV with English-language channels including ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CNN, ESPN, and others; a CD and DVD player and stereo system. NOTE: There is WiFi, but this is rural Costa Rica, and the signal is unstable.

At this townhouse villa you have the freedom to wander throughout the property and enjoy the fresh sea breeze 24 hours a day. There is a small lanai/gazebo to relax.

To get to this property, you will drive past the entrance to Herradura Bay and the Los Sueños complex with its Marriott Hotel, its 18-hole championship golf course, its acclaimed marina, one of the finest on the Pacific south of the US border, and its world-class charter sportfishing fleet. At the entrance to Los Sueños/Herradura Bay at the main highway is a comprehensive shopping mall with stores and a supermarket offering everything you can purchase in the USA, Canada and Europe.

You will then drive past the bustling beach resort of Jacó, with its boutiques, modern supermarkets, banks, ATM machines, fine dining and buzzing night life. Drive five minutes more, and you will come to Playa Hermosa. On the ocean side of the highway, in front of Playa Hermosa’s exceptional surfing beach, are hotels and many fine - and fun - restaurants, bars and cafés. Turn left at Playa Hermosa, drive 7-8 minutes up the mountain, and you will quickly arrive at our townhouse villa.

Again, this is why we highly recommend that you book the experienced English-speaking driver and comfortable A/C van with us for your airport transfers and full-day services that include a reasonable number of rides to/from Playa Hermosa’s surfing beaches and attractions, and to Los Sueños, Jacó, and other local destinations.

Trips after 6:00 PM can be arranged at a small additional cost.
