Very hospitable and friendly host. Great location. Easy parking. Lovely pool, garden and outdoor sitting/eating area. Supermarket quite near. Lots of lovely things to visit and do in the local area.
Unusual, quirky accommodation- felt like having our own little château! Very nice walk down by the river to Chateau de Chenanceaux - beautiful in the evening light.
We didn't realise on booking that the kitchen was accessed from outside, not directly from inside the property. This wasn't really a problem but just a minor annoyance. Kitchen was also a little limited in utensils etc. but we managed. Could be a little "creepy" for young children due to the curious art objects and heavily painted walls but also quite quirky and we liked it!

Laticia (the host) is lovely and you instantly feel at home and relaxed. The pool is brilliant, and very welcome in the summer. There is a large garden with lots of spots to relax in the shade.
A short walk away you’ll find a well stocked local supermarket and bakery which doubles as the La Poste. In the other direction is a bar/restaurant where the food is simple but excellent and extremely good value for money.
Chateaux Chenonceaux is a 5 min drive away and is stunning. If we were to start our trip again, we would rent a canoe and paddle up to the Chateaux first, then do the tour around the grounds. Approaching on a boat takes your breath away.
We would genuinely recommend this place its well located, very relaxing and certainly interesting, with a very warm, friendly host.

Lovely house, nice linens, spacious rooms. Very quiet countryside (except for the insistent rooster nearby).

Beautiful pool and surrounding area, lovely inside space as well with everything you could need. Great location to explore the surrounding area. Lovely to meet the owner who made us feel at home!
Everything was perfect!

The space was excellent- we were a family of four but had a spare bedroom. The living rooms were vast and the kitchen very modern. The pool and garden were perfect for relaxing too.
Our only very slight reservation was that the shower over the bath in the en suite bathroom was awkward to use and it was impossible to prevent the floor from getting wet.

No one understood English. Bathroom door didn’t close. Whole house was very dated with old unwanted stuff. Creepy place for kids. Religious items everywhere. WiFi didn’t work at all. Staff had made no attempt to resolve the issue (she didn’t understand English). They called an engineer, who had no clue how to resolve the issue either. We had used all of our data at our own expense. Placed a complaint to host and booking.com but received no satisfactory outcome . They sent an email to say the door was fixed- a lie. For the duration of our stay, the internet was down - their engineer said the walls of the property was too thick for WiFi reception. The kitchen was in a separate building to the property, not ideal for a family and generally quite inconvenient. Had to go outside to access the kitchen. Very dissatisfied & disappointed with our stay. Would not recommend this property, especially if you have kids.

The hostess was nice, friendly and helpful. Quiet house, lots of old things inside the house and outside. Feels like staying in a museum. Close to the Chenonceau Castle.
Old and out-to-date electrical fixtures. Practically if you wanted to turn on only your bedside light you could not because it was conected with the other lights from the room. The bathroom needs a shower or a shower head (at least!) with a longer tail for people that might want to shower standing and are more than 1.70 m tall. The bathroom door has to be fixed because it is not closing at all.
