About this house rental
Completely renovated in 2022, the cottage "La Patouille" welcomes you for a stay with totally independent access.
For a quiet stay close to the city center (2km away), for a stay with family or friends, to enjoy the heritage (Clos Lucé 1km away, Château Gaillard 500m away, Château d'Amboise 2km away) or good gastronomy and good wine or simply to come and relax...
Ideal place to spend a sweet and pleasant holiday
Accommodation of 110 m² composed of:
- On the first floor:
* a living room equipped with a sofa bed for 2 people, with open kitchen,
* a "Cocooning" room with its private bathroom equipped with a freestanding bath and a shower,
* a toilet,
* a laundry area
- Upstairs:
* a relaxation area equipped with a single bed,
* a "Jungle" room dormitory with 3 single beds,
* a "Horizon" room equipped with a double bed,
* a bathroom with bathtub,
* and a toilet.
Private parking with fully enclosed accommodation.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
During your stay in Amboise, you can go to the market every Friday and Sunday morning, take a walk on the Place du Château, in the pedestrian streets, or enjoy a walk on the banks of the Loire.
The town of Amboise has many restaurants and bars, clothing shops, crafts, delicatessen, bakeries, ... Then the "Leclerc" shopping mall is 5 minutes from the accommodation.
Activities :
* The magnificent tourist places of Amboise (Château Gaillard, Le Clos Lucé, Le Château, La Pagode...)
* The city of Tours (with its cathedral and Place Plumereau) is a 30-minute drive away.
* The Beauval Zoo 45 minutes away.
* The aquarium is located at the exit of Amboise (Lussault) 8 km away.
* And then you can of course visit the nearby Loire castles (Chenonceau, Chambord, Cheverny, Chaumont...),
* Or enjoy flying over the Amboise region in a hot air balloon or go down the Loire in a canoe.

A delightful stay at Celine’s lovely home! As two traveling couples we had plenty of room, The home was as described and very clean. Having two bathrooms was ideal and space for parking was perfect! The kitchen was well equipped and the location was wonderful, affording us an opportunity to walk to Chateau du Clos Luce and a short drive into the old town center. Highly recommend. This is the perfect spot in Amboise for seeing some of the best chateaus in the area. City center is right around the corner and there are a couple grocery stores right there. We recommend visiting the home of Leonardo da Vinci, Château du Clos Lucé, which is just down the street. The host is incredibly responsive to any questions we had. Finding the home and getting access was easy. The property has a very new interior, is so nicely decorated, stocked with anything we needed (coffee, soaps, paper towels, laundry detergent, Kleenex, fans in the bedrooms, etc.), provides some information on things to do in the area and was spotless clean. We had everything we needed and loved our stay! We highly recommend!!

the property was immaculate, well stocked, games for the kids, a wonderful open space, and the host was responsive. We had a great stay - 3 adults and two children.
