No better way to feel at home in the Netherlands than to stay on a boat on a canal. Thank you Norbert for the opportunity and the warm welcome you gave us. The Kingfisher, the Beaver and the ducks added to our unforgettable stay. Our 4 nights went by in a flash…like the blue streak of the kingfisher.

Leuke plek met een goed bed vlakbij het centrum. Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Wij hadden ov fietsen gehuurd en het is een leuke korte fietstocht langs het water van de woonboot naar het centrum. De eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

The room was like a studio with a kitchen/lounge area and separate bedroom/bathroom. Very quiet location on a canal. Kitchen equipped with fridge (where various breakfast items were left by the owner) and with a view of the canal.
The approach to the house boat wasn't very appealing looking more like a scrapyard than accommodation. Wasn't too keen on the canal side vegetation as to me that's a magnet for vermin. Didn't meet the owner as everything was done remotely.
