About this house rental
Our beautiful lakefront home has 4 bedrooms with 4 full bathrooms. Plenty of space for you and your family to enjoy beautiful lake Granbury in comfort.
Enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the back deck or from the comfort of the living room.
We have two Kayak’s that are available for our renters to enjoy. Plenty of board games, card games and movies for evening entertainment. Fun for everyone!
Plenty of shopping in Downtown at "The Square in Granbury" and just a short drive away. (5-7 minutes)
There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores around.
Downtown Granbury is a fun way to spend the day or evening just walking around the square either window shopping, trying out different restaurants, or they even have the Granbury Opera house!
Granbury often has special events (ie. chili cookout, 4th of July celebration, Fall festival, Christmas lighting of the downtown area, etc.)
It all really boils down to spending quality time with each other. #MakingMemories. You will see that quite a few times in this listing because I am a firm believer that it is so important to do just that. Making memories is so important and you might as well make them FUN ONES!
I am making our home a place that is as easy and relaxing as it is fun. No stress allowed.
There is also a wildlife park approx. 15 minute drive away from our house. (Fossil Rim in Glen Rose) It is a wonderful place to take the kids. Even the big ones! the animals will come to your vehicle and eat the food that is paid for by you when you pay your admission into the park.
Six Flags over Texas is about an hour away from us and well worth the drive.
Top Golf is a short 20-30 minute drive away. As is the FTW Stockyards.
Plenty of things to do and see!

**A little side note for all of our guests to know.... we DO have cameras installed OUTSIDE ONLY. And all around the house.

We can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Granbury after our visit to this property. Host is super helpful, place is located perfectly and the layout was perfect for us. Clean as a pin and made for an awesome stay.

We needed a nice weekend getaway at the lake, I am so glad we found this property. House was very clean, furnishings are super comfortable, awesome kitchen, great layout. The outdoor areas are spectacular!!!! The deck, the dock, etc. are top notch. Gina, the host, couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. We absolutely can't wait to stay again!

Sadly the pictures misrepresented the property. We expected lovely landscaping front and back & we’re disappointed to find the front yard was nothing but weeds and long overdue for a mowing. The landscaping on the water side had been entirely removed and they are in the midst of a renovation project.
The upper deck chairs are old and well worn. On arrival several had been left out in a recent rain and were unusable as a result for 2 days. The only table was missing half of the top and thus unusable.
Like wise the furniture near the fire pit was broken and had been placed against a retaining wall. So yet again an outside area we had hoped to enjoy was unusable.
The kayaks were covered in spiders and webs but eventually we were able to clean and use them. Getting into the water from the dock was difficult and unsafe as the top step was broken.
The fourth bedroom, a converted garage, had no window or closet.
The host was accessible but never apologized for the numerous dead bugs found through the kitchen, dinning room and great room. They did agree to a $200 rebate. Overall I think perhaps they are new at this or have a very different view of renters expectations. Some advance warning that they are in the midst of major renovations would have given us a heads up to look for other options.
It was generally a disappointing experience! Had it not been a holiday weekend we would have tried to find somewhere else to stay.
