Holiday cottage Rincón del Olivo:
The 100year old house has completely been restored, paying close attention to all the details of a confortable new house. It has 80m2 built on a property of 3000m2 of organic farming in which you will be able to enjoy participating in activities related to the property if you wish.
Access to the house is through a 50meter trail to the house. The house has a terrace and a balcony with views over the landforms of the region.
Rincón del Olivo is located in the municipality of San Sebastián de la Gomera, at only 7km from the capital of the island, in the Gorge of Aguajilva, 300m away from Lomo Fragoso.
The Lomo Fragoso area is essentially agricultural and the houses are situated on the slopes.
The island of La Gomera is ideal for hiking lovers. San Sebastian is a small town of about 7,000 inhabitants and is the hub of the rest of the archipelago. It has supermarkets, restaurants, shops, a nice promenade and two of the best beaches on the island. Garajonay National Park, with the largest representation of Canarian laurels and geological formations such as Roques, is located only a few minutes away.
The house consists of 2 double bedrooms 1 extra bed and 1 baby cot.

* 1 with two single beds 0.9 x 2.0m,
* 1 bathroom with shower and hairdryer
* 1 kitchen fully equipped with Melita coffee maker, kettle, large oven, gas and eletric stove,toaster, washing machine.

* The water is heated by solar panels and electric heat pump.
* Pets are welcome with supplement to be paid on arrival.

Zu Hause hattten wir gerne Kontakt gehabt wo wir den Besitzer des Hauses treffen könnten, um den Schlüssel zu erhalten. Wir mussten einen Parkplatz für Krankenwagens suchen ohne einen Straßennamen zu bekommen.
Von San Sebastian ist das Haus nicht schwer zu finden.
Eine Karte mit der Wegbeschreibung zum Hause ist genug.
Das ist einfacher für den Eigentümer und Gäste.
Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich.
Das Haus wurde komplett ausgestattet.
Wir würden sehr gerne wieder zurück kommen.

It would be great, if you give the suggestion, that you need a flashlight for finding the accommodation at night. We had no problem, because we had mobile phones. But for other tourists it could be a good information. s

Das Ferienhaus war von innen gepflegt und es hat uns an nichts gefällt. Wir hatten frisch gewaschene Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Leider hat uns jedoch unser Aufenthalt nur bedingt gefallen. Der Vermieter ist jeden Tag vorbei gekommen und hat sich bis zu 2 Stunden auf dem Gelände aufgehalten um die Katzen zu füttern die ihr Territorium neben unserem Schlafzimmer hatten und uns nachts nicht schlafen lassen haben. Ausserdem wurden die Katzen am Grillplatz gefüttert der generell runtergekommen, sehr dreckig und durch die Katzenfütterung unhygienisch ist. Wir haben uns daher einen Grill gekauft. Leider befand sich hinter dem Grillplatz auch ein Gehege mit 2 Hunden die jeden Tag eingeschlossen waren.
Das sind alles Dinge die für uns nicht tolerierbar sind. Es wäre angemessen gewesen diese Umstände in der Hausbeschreibung zu erwähnen.
