Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig an einem Berg. Die Ausstattung mit Mikrowelle und Toaster ist gut. Die Vermieterin ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns zu einem Mietwagen verholfen und war immer erreichbar.

Man sollte wissen, dass es bis zur Eingangstür 93 Stufen sind, die man zu bewältigen hat. Wir waren in der oberen der beiden Wohnungen untergebracht. Bei Regen steht das Wasser im Fensterrahmen. Manche Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen, manche Türen nicht schließen. Das Gebäude an sich ist sehr kalt - zum Glück gab es 2 Elektro-Heizgeräte und ausreichend Decken. Die Wohnung an sich würden wir eher als funktional beschreiben- weniger gemütlich.

Op de foto's zie je niet goed dat het huisje met patio heel privé op de helling ligt, je kunt je hier echt een kluizenaar wanen. Prachtig uitzicht, alle voorzieningen waren goed, de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding was fantastisch. We werden bij aankomst ook helemaal vanaf de hoofdstraat met de auto begeleid, en daarna zelfs nog geholpen met onze koffers op het trappetje! Het is natuurlijk even klimmen, maar als je hier komt om te wandelen doe je dat al elke dag en het trappetje is in goede staat en verlicht. Internet was hartstikke snel en we werden geholpen aan wat restaurantadviezen (je moet wel een half uurtje lopen). Het is een prima uitvalsbasis voor een actieve vakantie, maar ik zou hier zo een week of twee kunnen niksen, zeker voor wat wij hebben betaald.

Waarschijnlijk onvermijdelijk, maar er komen wel makkelijk muizen binnen door de deuren.

The view from the balcony is lovely especially on a sunny morning. It's a cute little house in a peaceful location surrounded by nature, which has been really nicely restored.

It could be a more comfortable stay if it was a little less spartan and some of the fittings were renewed such as the bed topper, draining board and clothes rack. Some written information about the apartment including the WiFi would be helpful as we weren't greeted when we arrived and there was minimal communication with the host. The main issue for us was the very steep driveway down to the house. A 45 degree steep slope down (about 50 metres long) is quite scary to drive down if you are not used to it. The road to get the house was also a challenge - single lane, lots of parked cars and steep drop offs. The house isn't actually located where it says it is on booking.com. so you definately need a car and need to drive to get to any restaurants in the evening so we tended to self-cater. The kitchen had most things we needed to do this. The steps down to apartment were steep but with secure concrete steps they were fine to walk up /down - if you don't have any mobility issues.
