About this villa rental
This 3-level villa lies on the peaceful upper slopes of the Penzance estate adjacent to National Park land. The property was designed by a local architect to take full advantage of the breathtaking all-round ocean and mountain views.
The five bedrooms all have terraces with views and can accommodate a maximum of 12 guests.
The open-plan 100m2 living space is situated on the top floor to take full advantage of the panoramic views, and benefits from a large entertaining terrace overlooking the ocean, and a second breakfast terrace with mountain views.
The kitchen is fully-equipped including an airfryer and integral bean-to-cup coffee machine and a Nespresso.
The large private pool (3.5m x 7.5m) has a solar heating system and thermal blanket which normally keeps the water very warm from spring to autumn. The pool terrace is sheltered from the sea breeze and equipped with a gas braai, bar fridge and 12-seater dining table. A lift connects the kitchen to the pool terrace.
The property has a comprehensive solar power and battery system so is not affected by load-shedding.
The villa has high-speed fibre broadband and excellent 5G reception; the two large smart TVs both have all the usual streaming services. There is a printer/scanner and monitor for guest use. A separate staff wing accommodates a resident housekeeper.
The master bedroom is furnished with a superking-size bed and has a dressing room, en suite bathroom and a wet-room with windows to admire the mountain views whilst showering. The large sea-facing terrace is fully private.
The second bedroom has a queen-size double bed with en suite bathroom and separate shower. The terrace gives direct access to the garden.
A third bedroom has a double bed and the fourth bedroom two single beds. The bedrooms share a large terrace leading out into the garden. A fifth bedroom has two sets of bunk beds which can sleep four children and a terrace overlooking the garden.
All bedrooms benefit from air-conditioning.
