Charming, cute Kiwi Bach, tastefully renovated (keeping the classic 'Kiwi Bach' feel), providing the perfect holiday destination. Whether you want some quiet time to relax, or explore the wonders of Waiheke, then this is the ideal spot for you. A delightful location, the property borders Surfdale reserve (with kids playground) which leads directly to the water's edge. Just 20 steps from the end of the section and you'll be standing on Surfdale Beach.
The Bach offers open plan living with 2 double bedrooms (queen) and all the amenities you should rightfully expect - TV, DVD, Stereo, BBQ, and a deck to be envied by all.
You choose ... relax on the deck, grab your towel and wander across the park to the beach ... or just a short 2 minute walk to Surfdale village where you'll find a choice of eateries and bars, On Fire Restaurant, Bisou French Cafe, an Irish bar, or grab fresh fruit and veges, an icecream or whatever you need from the fresh market, diary or bakery.
And for those wanting to explore the island further, you are only a short stroll, bus or taxi ride away from the pleasures of numerous vineyards and restaurants, walking the island tracks, visiting art galleries or lazing the days away at one of the many beautiful beaches.

Lovely location, close to shops and easy to get public transport from ferry terminal to house.Bedrooms were sufficient for our stay. The only thing is the beds are so uncomfortable, you are fighting to get away from the springs in both beds, might need new mattress's. I am not how long the house had been locked up, but smelt of mildew which didnt help the asthma.No air conditioning in the house and when we were on the island it was apparently the hottest week, portable fans didnt do it, we had to clean the fans to get some better traction from them.The host i must say was very accommodating to us, as we had travelled from overseas and very tired when we arrived. I believe its more than 20 steps to the beach, but very welcoming on those hot days. In all communication was fablous, location fabulous, island fablous, maybe just new mattress needed.
