Araucaria Apartments - Close to Tsilivi & Zante Town, by ZanteWize

We had a fantastic stay! The host was incredibly nice and available 24/7 to help us. He welcomed us with drinks and snacks, and gave us excellent tips on places to visit in Zakynthos. The room was fully equipped with towels, shampoo, slippers, and even bathrobes (which was a lovely, rare touch!). If you want to cook, the kitchen has absolutely everything you need, including essentials like salt, pepper, and olive oil. There is also a washing machine complete with detergent tablets, which was very convenient. The air conditioning worked perfectly for the hot days. We also loved the balcony—it was the perfect spot for breakfast and evening drinks (though it gets a bit too sunny to sit there during the middle of the day). Additionally, the location is great—it is just a pleasant 10 to 15-minute walk to the center of Tsilivi town, where you can find plenty of bars and restaurants. It was also a huge plus that there was a designated parking spot specifically for our room.

The kitchen utensils and glasses could have been cleaned a bit more. Additionally, the clothes drying rack on the balcony has some rusty bars that unfortunately stained a few of our washed clothes, especially the light-colored ones, so it definitely needs replacing. One downside of the property is that it is located right on the main street. Because the window faces the road, it can get quite noisy, especially at night, with cars, quads, and scooters passing by. Lastly, while it wasn't an issue for us, it is worth pointing out that the short walk to the center of Tsilivi involves passing through a deserted area, which is something to keep in mind, especially for solo female travelers walking at night.

Das Apartment ist schön groß, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Lage der Unterkunft zwischen Zante Town und Tsilivi ist ideal, da Restaurants, Bars und Geschäfte leicht zu erreichen sind. Der Vermieter ist sehr zuvorkommend und höflich und hat uns mit Tips versorgt. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Apartment wieder buchen.

Das Gebäude liegt an einer stärker befahrenen Strasse, so dass die vorbeifahrenden Autos und Busse natürlich zu hören sind, wenn man auf dem Balkon sitzt. Im Apartment - bei geschlossenem Fenster - hört man nichts. Kleine subjektive Kritik: Uns war die Matratze vom Bett etwas zu hart. Aber jeder Mensch empfindet das anders.

Close to the beach and to the town. A lovely balcony and it’s fully equipped with a kitchen and washing machine. Everything you need really. Zante isn’t far away (we walked in forty minutes) and there are plenty of bars and restaurants a short walk away.

A estadia foi excelente! O custo-benefício é ótimo e o dono é super atencioso — nos recebeu com muito carinho. O quarto estava impecável: arrumado, perfumado e cheio de detalhes, como shampoo, creme e sabonete de ótima qualidade, além de café para a máquina e até um espumante de boas-vindas! 🍾☕️ A localização é estratégica, no meio do caminho para várias atrações da ilha e bem perto do centro. A acomodação é aconchegante, moderna e super bem equipada — pude até lavar roupas para seguir viagem, com sabão disponível para a máquina, o que fez toda diferença. Super recomendo! Uma experiência maravilhosa, que superou as expectativas! 💙
