Villa Empedrola

Beautiful location, lovely villa and pool, easy to find - rooms well laid out and spacious. Well priced and well stocked for the most part.

When we arrived the heating did not work at all and the house was freezing because it was winter - the booking company who manages the villa sent a plumber the next day to their credit who fixed, but keeping an eye on the plumber etc it looked like the system had actually been shut off at the pipes - then it needed bled fully and a new thermostat as well so it clearly hadn't been used for a while - it would seem like the sort of thing you would probably be well aware of as someone had to shut that heating off... which means they left the house freezing... The gas hob was also turned off but that wasn't hard to find the shut off valve - no lighters or matches left so anyone arriving late who wants to cook would struggle and the wifi didn't work at all, but thankfully we had 4g.
