Я не любитель писать отзывы, но в данном случае очень хочется написать и поблагодарить хозяйку отеля Мену, за её гостеприимство!
Мой самолёт задержался, и я приехала намного позже указанного времени, но Мена ждала меня у двери отеля.
Встретила, рассказала все тонкости, как я смогу добраться, куда мне нужно. Одним словом--Надежно!
Замечаний нет.

Our host was lovely and friendly, and despite only using Google translate, she communicated pretty well. She tidied our room every day, and went above and beyond to check on us. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. The bathroom was a good size with plenty of space to store things and shampoo and bodywash and soap were provided and good quality, as were the towels, which were a good size too. The aircon worked fine. There was basic tea and coffee provided and a kettle and fridge in the room, which was helpful.
The location was great for getting to Pompeii and other historical sights. There is no need to get a transfer. The bus and train from the airport are cheap and reliable, unless you are arriving later than about 9.30pm. (In general, the trains seemed much more reliable than buses.) The guy who did our transfer from the airport gave us a quick tour in the car before dropping us off at the accommodation, but we were tired and disorientated and didn't really take much in! He also offered to take us around during our stay, but we declined as we hadn't fully planned what we wanted to do and wanted to be spontaneous, but it is an option, if you want that sort of thing. The rooms are non-smoking, thankfully! The pastries were tasty and the coffee was good.
The walls were thin and we could hear a child at all hours of the night. Luckily I had my ear plugs, but my friend didn't! Slightly misleading wording about the breakfast 'A hearty Italian breakfast is served daily, featuring fresh pastries and juice', when it was a just a pastry and a coffee obtained with a voucher from a cafe across the road, but there are ashtrays on the tables there so not great for non-smokers. There is a photo of a cafe on the website but there is also a photo of the 'hearty' breakfast on a tray in the bedroom, which did not seem to be an option. Maybe the other rooms had a view, but ours didn't have a window to look out of. Just a window above the door for air. We got bitten somehow, despite the mosquito net and it being late October! My fault perhaps for leaving the bug spray behind as the weather was still great.
