The shower, water is all around the bathroom while you taking a shower and it’s quite hard to clean the shells

Very good breakfast and dinner. Clean quiet beautiful beach. Very clean all over the hotel. The spa was exceptional. Very helpful staff thank you thivanka.

The reception staff / hostesses!!! Wow, I just want to say these ladies were incredible. Super proactive, willing to help, offered great recommendations and immediate assistance. They arranged everything we needed , made reservations for us, ensured any issues were attended to immediately, would check in on our experience etc etc. i couldn’t say anything better about the service- A++. There are 2 sides to the hotel, separated by a road. We stayed on the beach side (the other side is the garden side), and I can say I recommend the beach side. The unique decor of the hotel is charming, with the beach aesthetic I thought it was very pretty. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Everything needed is provided- eg beach towels provided daily, 2 water bottles daily, daily house keeping. There is a family of cats on the property which were very cute. The breakfast was great- sufficient options (slight variations daily), tasty and great value. Overall I enjoyed my stay

The biggest downfall with the property is it seemingly needing some maintenance. There is some wear and tear that needs to be attended to. Some issues were fixed immediately, for example our TV was damaged upon arrival so the hotel changed it out immediately & Our aircon was dripping- which our housekeeping noticed- so they sent someone to fix it straight away. However, things like the decking in the main area needs to be sanded and repainted. Many of our light switches didn’t appear to work. Our hairdryer stopped working within 20 seconds of use each time (just some examples that come to mind). The rooms are also dark - the lighting, whilst moody and aesthetic, was not sufficient for visibility. Our room flooring was also a dark cement and the shower door was painted black, which made our whole room feel darker (and less beachy). The location of our room did also not lend itself to much privacy. There was a walkway outside our room which provided access to the upstairs apartments. This meant that we had to keep our curtains drawn so that no one looked into our room. This obviously contributed to how dark the room felt. I don’t believe this is an issue that will be experienced if you stayed in other rooms. The beach outside the property (grand anse), was nice but certainly not one of the best in Praslin. I would recommend getting a car so that you can easily visit the other beaches and locations.

Old accomodation, furniture and windows which is unfortunate as this is charming. Very dark room, lacking the beautiful view on the garden as you can´t easily open the windows. Quite a lot of insects coming into the room (mosquitos, spiders, coackgroughs). Shower is just terrible with no proper curtain. Beach is beautiful but full of sandflies at sunset which was not advised and we got bitten hard, ruining the end of the trip. Swimming pool is beautiful in the garden but not properly maintained as there were screws coming out from the wood deck. There was no staff at the pool bar and we needed to clean ourselves after some customers. Staff was lacking flexibility and some were barely polite. Crossing the street to go to the lobby, breakfast and beach is not convenient.
