Exceptional value with lots of great little upgraded touches

Loved the privacy, common area was excellent, espresso machine was impressive, the upgrades in the room were great and it was very comfortable for the small size.

The smell in the room was a mix of mustiness and clorox. The place was exceptionally clean but the smell was off-putting. I would give the place a 10 otherwise. I'd suggest some type of diffuser or hotel scent system like the larger chains use.

Overpriced

Good location, easy check in.

AC/Heater was not working. Shower was difficult to use and had no shelves or anything to place toiletries. Basic room that was not worth the value of the price of the stay.

Love the location in the heart of Napa. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. The beds were cozy and quiet.

The rooms are a little on the small side. The window into the bathroom is a little odd and the bathroom light is motion-activated. So a couple of times, my spouse or I got up to use the bathroom at night and woke up the other one.

Great Location Disappointing Accommodation

We were in a delux room with a kitchen and the highlight was how well equipped the kitchen was, it had everything you could need. The location was also good as it is very central with easy parking.

It is nothing like the pictures, much more basic than we expected. We were unlucky as our room was next to a seating area in the courtyard, which meant it was noisy at times. We loved Napa but I'm not sure we would stay here again.

Consistently superb and one of a kind

I stay at this property every year for Labor Day weekend and it never lets me down.A boutique hotel/personalized experience, modern/upscale accommodations, generous amenities and my absolute favorite thing to look forward to… the complimentary ham and cheese quiche for breakfast.YUM!

Cool place, interesting rooms

It's in a great location, the room was nice but the outer spaces are nicer. Visually the R Inn is beautiful and classy.

Our room had lots of light with shades to block out most light for sleep; however, the inside window from the bathroom to the bedroom was not ideal, as it automatically turned on the light when using the bedroom late into the night. lighting up the enter bedroom. There was a way to turn it off after you entered the bathroom, but it would often turn back on before you made it back to the bed. Also, the fans in the bathroom ran night a day. If you are light sleeper this could be annoying. There was no workaround for this issue or the bathroom light issue.

Located in a great location but also a very quiet and unassuming property. The breakfast room setup was great too. Lots of easy options to grab.

The property is an old mortuary and almost has a stale smell of one. I wish I had a candle to burn in the room or something.

The accommodation has been so thoughtfully designed. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and full of modern touches. The complimentary (and delicious) breakfast was unexpected but appreciated. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location was superb. Right in the middle of downtown Napa.

I can't really fault anything. It was pricey, but so worth it! Thank you! Not a deal breaker, but perhaps considering the option to provide twin (zip/link) beds could be considered?

Lovely stay!

We had a lovely stay! Beautiful accommodation. Great location to explore downtown Napa, very walkable. Plenty of parking available. And the amenities were great, there is coffee, tea, snacks. Our room was great as well, super comfortable bed with really nice linen.

Work full Weekend Getaway Hotel

Beautiful property! Centrally located! Spotlessly clean! I stayed in loft 11 and loved the amount of space. The bed is super comfy! I did experience some ants getting into the downstairs bathroom and the hotel promptly attended to the issue and even asked if I was interested in moving rooms. I moved into loft 12 which is an exact mirror of loft 11. There is plenty of parking and so many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel was also safe and very quiet. I can’t wait to return! Highly recommend staying here!

Perfect for a quick 2-3 day getaway

Loved how intimate and cozy it was. The fresh water every day was a plus not to mention the snacks (cereal, granola bars, milk, juice, etc) provided in the kitchen. Everything was clean and the highlight was the bidet ☺️

The only thing I would change is the fact that there was no closet space or any drawers to put our things in. Not even nightstands.

Highly recommend in downtown Napa

Check-in/out was easy and efficient, the room was well appointed and very comfortable, and the on-site amenities such as coffee/kitchen were well stocked and appreciated. Was a bit too cold to use the courtyard but it looked like a wonderful place to enjoy a bottle of wine. Location was within walking distance of shops/restaurants, yet quiet and felt safe. On-site parking is convenient and wi-fi was quite good. Highly recommended.

I would live here if I could. Beauty, comfort, style, space.

Easy to find, excellent parking. Self-check-in. No keys, all access via pin pads. Quick walk to city center/boutique Napa. The Inn’s design makes a small footprint (a good thing!) feel like an acre. Many outdoor ‘rooms’ in nooks, patios. Bocce. Seating in Adirondack chairs, cushioned lounges. A solo, couple, or group are equally embraced here. 100% attention to detail. Lounge and Pantry concept is brilliant; a room should feel like a room, not a studio apartment. Natural lighting, high ceilings, amazing bed. And don’t forget the bidet.
