Beautiful house with fabulous pool. We did not hire a car for our stay. Taxis were fairly cheap -€6 to centre of Funchal. Very clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend.

Just returned from a 8 night stay in Madeira and we had a wonderful time. The villa is absolutely beautiful. The house is even more beautiful then the picture. The villa is in a great location. There is a lovely cafe on the corner with very friendly owners, the food there is great and doesn’t cost much. The Villa is located near to a supermarket which is about a 10 minute walk, in order to stock up on the household essentials. However, the Villa does have some of its basic necessities, so you do not have to run out to the store first thing upon arrival. My kids spent most of their time in the pool which is absolutely fantastic and in the evenings we would spend nights on the roof terrace.
The villa is about a 20min walk into town which isn’t that bad when walking down however I would recommend getting a cab back up which isn’t any more than €7-€10 as it’s quite a steep hill going back up. All in all, we had a great holiday, The host kept in communication and upon arrival, made sure we made it to the house on time thank you once again and we will definitely be back.
Thanks you
