About this house rental
The holiday home "Gamla Smedja" is located on a farm in Småland, right on the shores of Lake Åsnen and the nature reserve.
The holiday home Gamla Smedja (German: "Alte Schmiede") was completed in 2018.
It is less than 300 meters from the holiday home to the private beach and boat place on Lake Åsnen.
The holiday home Gamla Smedja is only suitable for NON-SMOKERS! Smoking and open flames are not allowed on the entire Västergård farm!
In the holiday home Gamla Smedja and in the yard NO PETS are allowed!
NO STREET SHOES are allowed in the Gamla Smedja holiday home!
In the holiday home and in the yard, NO CELEBRATIONS or EVENTS are held. NO NOISE etc.!
Children are welcome.
The house comprises approx. 70 m² living space, 2 bedrooms (max. 5 people). (*1)
Bed linen and towels are to be brought along, but can also be rented (* 2);
Consumables (kitchen rolls, toilet paper, soap, dishwasher tabs, etc.) are to be brought / brought along;
The holiday home Gamla Smedja has a bathroom, fully tiled, with a shower.
Air conditioning is available for heating or cooling the holiday home. In addition, the house has underfloor heating in the bathroom and EL heaters in the bedrooms and a fireplace for the winter.

Fishing: The Åsnen, on the banks of which the Västergård farm borders, is a very popular fishing area with an interesting fish population. You can find information on the lake, local rules and how to buy a fishing license (Fiskekort). a. under the following ⇗ link. Feel free to use the iFiske app (for Android and iOS).
Internet: If you want to or have to stay connected to the outside world during your vacation, you can use the internet connection (WiFi, 4G / LTE) of the holiday home Gamla Smedja for a fee (* 4).

Caution! The old postal code 36013 is still used occasionally. Sometimes the "Västergård" is left out. Then it's just "Klasamåla 10". This is why the information in navigation systems is sometimes confusing. The information and photos on Google Maps are not yet consistent. That is why a link to an Eniro map was included in the route description.
Directions to the holiday home Gamla Smedja: Klasamåla is located directly on the southeastern part of Lake Åsnen, bordering Urshult to the north. Coming from Urshult (road 120) follow Sirkövägen (the road to Sirkö) to the north, always along the lake (do not turn right towards Jät!). The distance from road 120 to the farm is approx. 2 km. When you leave Urshult (i.e. the dense development ends), after a few hundred meters you will see the Urshult campsite on the left (sea side = west). Immediately afterwards there is an “S” curve in which you will see the Klasamåla entrance sign on the right-hand side (if it is not overgrown). From this sign it is approx. 600 m to the entrance of Västergård 10, on the right side of the street (east side, facing away from the sea) by a larger two-storey white house on the hill. A black and white street sign with the words "Västergård 10" is located directly at the entrance (see photos). You will receive the key and further information from the white house. Please make yourself noticeable by a short honking.

Wir haben wundervolle 14 Tage hier verbracht. Die "alte Schmiede" ist ein liebevolles, modernes und wunderschön gemütliches Ferienhaus. Von der ersten Sekunde an haben wir uns wohlgefühlt und konnten unseren Urlaub genießen. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Wir haben vorallem die Ruhe, die die Umgebung bietet, genossen. Vom eigenen Seezugang sind wir zu unseren SUP Touren aufgebrochen und haben den See entdeckt. Allgemein hat die Umgebung so viel zu bieten. Wir sind dankbar für diese wunderbaren 14 Tage und haben uns super erholen können.

Das Objekt ist in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet (Herd, Backofen, Kühl- und Gefrierschrank, Spülmaschine) und ermöglicht so eine gute Selbstversorgung. Das Umfeld ist ruhig. In der Nähe gibt es diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Fischräucherei, Gemüsestände,....)Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und engagiert, um den Gästen einen entspannten Urlaub zu ermöglichen. Einen Urlaub im Ferienhaus Gamla Smedja können wir somit nur empfehlen.

Die Gamla Smedja ist ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus, das mit viel Liebe von ihren Besitzern renoviert und eingerichtet wurde. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt und würde das Haus auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
