About this house rental
This charming, very bright and sunny John's Island South Village Townhome is just a short drive or bicycle ride across A1A to a fabulous private beach. Located on the Golf Course, the South Village condominiums residents enjoy their own private heated swimming pool and 2 tennis courts which are a short walk from the condo. There are no John's Island Club member privileges (golf, beach club, dining, etc) available with this rental.
The end unit (windows on 3 exposures) features a private patio entrance with sliding glass doors to the dining room. Morning Coffee can be enjoyed on the outdoor patio which has 2 chairs and a table as well as a teak bench with cushion.
The dining area features a table with seating for 4. There is a wall of custom cabinetry with a 32" flat screen TV as well as a newly upholstered barrel chair and side table for reading.
The well equipped kitchen has a double door refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, oven-range, microwave and dishwasher.
The gracious, sunlit living room features a double height wall of windows overlooking a professionally landscaped back yard, a pond with water feature and the John's Island golf course. There is a 48" flat screen TV, a desk and a wall of custom shelving. The sliding glass doors open to a private landscaped terrace with a dining table for 4.
There is a powder room and laundry/utility closet on this floor as well.
Second floor has two spacious bedrooms and full bath. The first bedroom (Master bedroom) has 2 twin beds which can be reconfigured into a king size bed. There is a wall of custom cabinetry which has hanging areas as well as drawers for folded clothes and a 42" flat screen television. This bedroom is lofted to the living room.
The second room has a queen bed, dresser, mirror and reading chair. The closet in this room is a walk in with hanging and shelved areas.
The second floor bath is accessible from the hallway and the 1st bedroom. There are two areas each having a sink and storage and separated by a pocket door. The area just inside the hallway has a sink, tub/shower and toilet. The other area has a sink, makeup counter and large closet dressing area.
New hurricane glass windows and sliding glass doors were installed throughout the home in 2015. All of the windows and sliding glass doors have new custom window treatments. The living room and bedrooms have 3" plantation shutters. The dining area has bamboo screens. All new Vinyl Plank flooring has been installed throughout the entire unit during the Summer of 2019.
Outdoor parking is included for tenants and their guests.

Two weeks of perfect weather surrounded by hibiscus, pristine properties and lovely neighbors make for an ideal vacation. The pool is quiet and sparkling clean. The accommodations have everything you need for a restful stay. Our host was a pleasure to work with.

My wife and I spent the month of March in 2019 at Ms. O’Connor’s condominium on John’s Island in Vero Beach. We found the space to be clean, well kept, and with all the amenities that one could expect. Our neighbors were very accommodating and it was readily apparent that everyone took a lot of pride in the community. I must say too that Ms. O’Connor made the leasing process easy and seamless such that we encountered no glitches along the way. There is a beautiful patio just outside the backdoor from which you can enjoy the adjacent pond with its beautiful fountain.
The shopping in John’s Island is terrific as is the restaurant scene. We would highly recommend this condominium as well as John’s Island and Vero Beach in general. You will not be disappointed.
