Cottage House in Traditional Greek Village

One of the best village cottages we've stayed at. Located close to the main village square that has good food. You may park around the house or at the church 150m away from the house. The apartment was clean and comfortable with good heating via radiators and air conditioning. The bathroom is also very clean. Highly recommended. Tip: try the cafe next to the castle in Fanari village

It was 35minutes from Trikala which was our target city but we knew that from the start

Location is great, as it stands in the center of multiple settings for short visits. The venue is ideal for family accommodation due to its size, location and available assets.

The town of Kanalia is situated on an elevated position with a magnificent view of the countryside. We were very impressed by the place itself. The apartment is situated in a small house close to the square, it is modern and creatively furnished inside with everything you need. Waking up in a bedroom that has a view was a great experience. Our family was arguing about who was going to sleep in the bedroom, we had to take turns:-). We highly recommend to visit Kanalia in August when it is the Feast of the Assumption-Κοίμηση της Παναγίας. In the evening there was a big celebration in honour of this feast with lots of food and drink in local restaurants, plus traditional live music with clarinets and singing. It was an exciting and unique experience for us. We would have loved to stay longer if we could, it is a magical place. Thank you.
