The Kemilau Hotel & Villa Canggu Bali

Very well located. Commuting was a breeze and very convenient. Size of the rooms were very good. The property is well suited for families with children. I cannot comment on the in-house dining because we didn't land up eating at the property. Staff was extremely helpful and hospitable. I am definitely staying here again if I come to Canggu again.

Nothing I didn't like. But I have a suggestion. The rooms should have a desk and a chair if someone wants to sit and write or work on a laptop.

I really liked the location, it’s in the middle of Canggu, and it’s great.

The ceiling was damaged and we’ve noticed it was leaking from the top.

The staff service and friendliness goes beyond what is expected. The hotel is beautiful mixture of modern and greenery, so everywhere you look you can find photoshoot spot. The location is perfect as per my 2025 review when I came here last time, the LOCATION is just nice. Its not right next to the main street, you have to walk down a well paved 100m road to reach the hotel so you get the best of both world, peace and quiet in the hotel, short walk from everything else. Plus, you can easily walk to anywhere in Berawa area.

The bed was really comfortable and the staff went out of their way to fix issues. We got an expired cola zero in the restaurant that also had bugs on the top (from the fridge, tells you a little bit about how long it has been there). The staff gave us free drinks and dessert on the house as an apology, which was very nice. They also fixed a lovely floating breakfast for a small cost when we asked. We did not have an issue with mosquitos since we kept the bathroom lights off all night. The hotel is nice enough and we had a good stay, but do not expect luxury. Breakfast included was nice, the dragon fruit smoothie bowl was really good!

It is moist and mouldy and the open-air bathroom stinks. The curtains had mold on them and the decorative pillow was so smelly I had to remove it. The furniture is starting to fall apart because of the humidity. Construction woke us up at eight every morning. The pool was heated and completely in the dark, no natural sunlight at all. We could hear everything the people above were doing through the open bathrooms.
