    A large apartment in an old apartment building
    A large place, you can fit the whole family in. We were three but two more people could have easily fit. The owner was easy to get in touch with and helped us with our problem
    Out of the center, you will need a car. Weird Soviet style of bathroom, where the toilet has no washbasin. There are several street lights that seem to be directed at the bedroom windows - you will have to sleep as if with your lights on. Some kind of blindfolds could help in this regard ;)

    Great design and great stay
    The apartment is clean, quite big and with well thought out design that we appreciated. You can check-in at any time as there is a box with a safe and no need to meet the owner. Instructions were clear enough. There was an electric kettle, tea, cofee and a fridge so basically all you need for a couple day stay. There was a bathtub and a washing machine as well but we did not use it. We were there with a dog and the dog fee is 15€ extra. The stay and the place was very good. We arrived late and all spots for cars by the flat were taken, but we easily found a different spot a 3 min walk away.
    *) When we called, the woman on the phone did not speak english, she spoke russian and lithuanian only. She was not really friendly, but in gener the communication was okay. *) Would be good if the dog fee would be shown on the original booking website, that way we would not have had the need to call her for clarification. *) You have to leave the 15€ dog fee and the 4€ "pillow fee" as she called it in cash so you have to have the cash on you. The 4€ fee is included in the shown booking cost, but is not taken when you pay by card. *) There are some signs with quite a bit of text in the flat and all are in Lithuanian. We tried our best to translate them and seems they were basic like don't smoke in the flat. I feel like they could've been in english as well to save the confusion. *) No wine bottle opener. That could have been usefull as we forgot to take our own. Those are some general tips, but overall the stay was very pleasant. 😇

    Bad hostess
    The apartment was in convenient location, supermarkets Lidl and Maxima were nearby.
    The apartment itself had several flaws - the door handles didn’t work properly, the bath had a hole, the paint from the radiators made our towels with yellow colouring, the kettle wiring was bad and it could make a short circuit. At first when we arrived we were searching for Wi-Fi, but could not find the right one. After calling owner she explained that router was hidden under the sofa and was unplugged from power. At the time we were not happy, but still okey with this apartment. After long walk, we arrived at the apartment, tried to use bath for having a shower and established the fact of broken bath. After our call explaining the situation, she told that it was broken by previous visitors (she told via phone that we were informed about that fact by email, we could not found single one) and will fix it the next morning while we are away in the city. At the evening when we arrived we checked that the bath was repaired with the silicone. Next issue arose when we concluded that the doors to one of the rooms were locked, as they were left open when we left the apartment in the morning. It was late in the evening and we called they owner to tell that the doors are closed and we cannot enter the room. At first she blamed it all on us as we closed them by ourselves. After she said that she cannot come and open the doors and advised to pack our bags and leave and she would refund the money for one night. We refused to leave, because our belongings were left in that room and they were worth more than money she could refund. After that she accused us being drunk etc., and threatened to call the police. From our side, we finished the conversation with her and called the police ourselves explaining the situation. After a few minutes police arrived together with the owner who made a scene and finally opened the doors of the locked from after the request of the police. We have taken photos and have a proof of chat conversation with her about all the situation.

    Puiki lokacija prie UPA sanatorijos
    Kadangi į Druskininkus vykome aplankyti sanatorijoje UPA esančio šeimos nario, ieškojau galimybės apsistoti netoliese. Erdvus butas pirmame aukšte su trim miegamais kambariais buvo puikus pasirinkimas mūsų didesnei šeimynai. Virtuvės įranga nesinaudojome visai, bet mačiau, kad viskas, ko reikia maisto ruošai, virtuvėje yra. Buvo šampūnas, skystas muilas ir plaukų džiovintuvas. Bute šilta ir švaru. Atradus vietinių žinomą pėsčiųjų tiltelį per upę, kelias iki Upa sutrumpėjo nuo 19 iki 10 minučių :)
    Kadangi gana dažnai tenka keliauti ir nuomoti apartamentus, šiame kiek pritrūkau modernumo ir jaukumo. Tačiau tai jau lūkesčius viršijantys aspektai. Funkcionaliai viskas yra ir veikia.

    Jauks balkons. Ērta gulta guļamistabā. Pieejami daudz trauki. Ērta piekļuve numuram. Jauka viesistaba. Stāvvieta pagalmā, pie mājas.
    Otrā guļamistabā ļoti neērti dīvāni, bija grūti gulēt. Loti skaļas iekšdurvis, nevar klusu aizvērt. Gultas veļa no seniem laikiem. Lietošanai netraucēja, bet smieklīgi.
