Cam Cottage

Well located in this beautiful village. Spacious period cottage. Three pubs within 300 yards all providing excellent food. Walks from the door.

Owners appear not to read previous reviews re lower oven of cooker does not work and 1 wine glass in a 6 person cottage is poor. 3 for 20 quid light fittings and shades from B&Q are jarring in a 16 hundreds cottage . No mattress toppers which, when you strip the bed as requested, leaves you looking at a stained mattress.

Great location in centre of village, good sized bedrooms, comfy bed, immaculately clean. An ideal base for a cycling weekend in the Dales. There is one parking spot immediately outside for a small vehicle but plenty of low cost parking in the village.

Kettle didn't work had to boil water on the hob, one of the pans wasn't induction hob compatible. There is a shower over a bath that we didn't use as would have to sit in bath to use it. The shower cubicle in the en-suite was electric. It was nice and warm but not powerful and didn't drain unless we took the shower trap cover off.

Very old & cosy cottage with a lot of character. Beautiful oak beams & what appears to be an original stone staircase leading to the upstairs bedrooms & bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped with a spacious table for meal times. The lounge was cosy with lovely wood burning stove. It had loads of interesting pictures & ornaments in every room which was in keeping with the cottage & its surroundings. This is a beautiful cottage situated in the quiet village of Kettlewell. & I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

The parking outside the cottage was very tight. The stove had two ovens but only one worked & it needed a really good clean.

Beautiful old cottage in the heart of the village. Very clean and well equipped. Lovely log burner for cosy evenings around the fire.

Very creaky but obviously an old cottage!!
