Lovely property with cozy atmosphere. Our room has an amazing view of Julien Alps. Both rooms were very clean and comfortable. There were art installations and wooden works everywhere in the house. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. At the spot has a free parking. The village is very peaceful and it is close to Kranjska Gora and many others famous ski resorts.

Amazing view

The host lady was very nice and friendly, giving us lots of useful tips and tricks for our road trip, including the best routes to take. The balcony offered a stunning view—absolutely breathtaking and something you won’t forget.

The wall between rooms was very thin; we could hear even small noises and voices from the neighboring room. The room was clean, but not as sparkling as the rating suggested on Booking. There was some strange noise coming from outside, possibly a water pump or similar, which was a bit disturbing.

Charming traditional house in a dream valley of Triglav National Park

Beautifully renovated, cosy authentic house from the 18th century in a charming mountain village. We felt like home from the first moment to the last. Incredible views from the balcony. Perfect breakfast. Everything was more than perfect. Hope we return!

A beautiful property and wonderful hosts, highly recommended!

Very nice guesthouse. We came with our family and took all three rooms on the first floor. The rooms are beautiful, warm, well-decorated. The breakfast is very rich and delicious. The hosts are very nice people. Highly recommended. We will definitely come again.

Clean and comfortable

The owners were lovely and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and stocked with shampoos. There is a constant sound of the little stream just outside the house, which we loved.

The view from the room is to the wall and the back of the house. The access road is challenging, winding narrowly between the houses.

Lovely family and a great place! Location was ideal and close to many hiking trails. The rooms were clean and the hosts were very polite. A breakfast upon request was also served which was much appreciated. Definitely recommend to other travellers.

We enjoyed resting in such a lovely village and bidding farewell to Triglav from the balcony.

It is clean, comfortable and includes nice little extras. The shower was great, and it was a nice place to rest peacefully.

It is a little difficult to locate, but not too bad. I wish we had a room with a direct view of Triglav. Our room had an oblique view only if you step out onto the balcony.

Cozy stay in rural but very nice old house in Dovje

The couple welcomed us very warmly into their home and the room had everything we needed. The kitchenette was very handy and the bed very comfortable. It was quiet during the night, since Dovje is a rural village and Hiša pr’Deašlerju towards the end of it. The owner gave us a very good restaurant tip and helpful directions. Absolutely no complaints about that. Hvala ljepa!

The room was heavily perfumed probably due to the elevated humidity in the old (but very nice) house. Some dusting and removing spider webbs before we came would have been perfect but we were very tired from 6 days in mountain huts with much less comfort and slept very well in this place anyway. Just minor complaints, really.

He kindly guided us to our room and took the time to familiarize us with the hotel's amenities. The room itself exceeded our expectations in every way. Not only was it immaculately clean and cozy, but it also boasted a magnificent balcony with a stunning view. The picturesque landscape that greeted us each morning was nothing short of breathtaking. It provided the perfect backdrop for enjoying a cup of coffee and embracing the tranquility of the surroundings In summary, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional and memorable experience in Slovenia. The helpfulness of the owner, the cozy and clean rooms, and the awe-inspiring views make it an ideal destination for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty. I eagerly look forward to my next visit and the opportunity to extend my stay to fully relish all that this remarkable place has to offer.

The only regret we had was that our visit was too short, as we were pressed for time. However, this only serves as motivation to return in the future and fully immerse ourselves in the hotel's charm and the beauty of the area. :)

A great find - will be back for sure again

This is a great place for a holiday, or just a stopover to for a night on the way to Croatia. Arriving at 10:30 pm we again got a warm welcome with a smile. Both the red and the blue rooms are beautifully and lovingly decorated, with great care for detail and comfort – there is nothing that is not pretty and selected with care, from nice furniture to extremely comfy beds to soft furnishings - even the crockery for the delicious breakfast. You can tell the owners have travelled themselves and know what makes a stay like home. Everything is like on the fotos, even nicer. In the blue room you wake up with a panoramic mountain view from your bed 😊 The breakfast is served in the room – which we loved. If you wish to sit comfortably at a table with chairs, go for the larger blue room. For someone liking their breakfast at a table and not on the tray, it might be a bit crammed in the red room as the table there is not big. Special breakfast wishes were taken into account, and it was plenty and very good. Do check beforehand to make sure breakfast can be offered on the date(s) you need it – we have been unlucky once as the owner did not have time. There is a mini bar, which could do with stocking up with the things mentioned on the price list – a g&t would have been splendid, or a glass of wine. Beer can be found. A lovely place, we have been back already and certainly will do again.

There was no breakfast available at our last stay, the owner unfortunately had no time on the day. A sign or two coming into Dovje would help to find the place easier

G. Jernej was a life saver, super friendly and patient. We were on a business trip and coming in late, after the time for the check-in. He welcomed us and didn't say a word even though he waited for us almost till midnight. The house and the village itself is beautiful, rooms are super cozy. I highly recommend this place!

Nice stay with some drawbacks

We really liked the design of it. it made you feel home, just a nice place to be.

The hot water during the night wasn’t available and as we were travelling with an infant, that meant we needed to heat up the water in the water heater meant for coffee. Considering the price we paid, the hot water shouldn’t have been a problem!

Touristic stay in my homeland for two days

I really liked the house itself, it was over 200 years old but completely renovated inside. The colors of the appartment and the decoration itself was very cosy and warm. It was clean, the host spoke fluently German and Slovenian and left us a private space. He was correct and told us exactly what to expect (when he was going to be back from work, where to leave the appartment keys...). The location is also very good, ideal for hikers in the mountains and people who like nature. In the village itself we found quickly what we needed, Pizzeria Spajza is definitely to be recommended and there is a good bus connection.

It is mostly small things but they should be mentioned. The noice isolation in the appartment is not the best, we could even heard the phone from ring from the appartment across us and the language the people spoke. We would have liked to have an access to small plates with knives and forks for breakfast in the room, even if we did not decide to have it delivered inside. From the pictures online we saw we already expected to have them included. Additional important note was to have more toiletries included since it was two of us for two days. We wished to have more than one toilet roll and more than just one package of small shampoos and shower gels. I hope the people do not steal them on the regular basis, one alternative would be to have a bigger container of a cheap shampoo or just a dispenser on the wall. I also think there would be nice to have some kind of list of tourist attractions and places to see written on some A4 format already provided or at least explained to us. It is a lovely place with a lot of potential that could be also monetized.

It s a wonderful village, calm,and quiet. The view from the terrace is beautiful. Be sure to visit Mojstrana, Kranjska Gora and Gozd Martuljek. The owner is kind and helpful. Thank you very much! Dog-friendly accommodation! We recommend it!:)

Perfect window view

The locations is amazing and you can see the mountains through the huge windows, that was our highlight. the room is spacious and cozy. The balcony is very nice.

The inner walls are super thin. We could hear the people in the room next to ours very clearly, their movie and their conversations. If you go to bed early, e.g. preparing for the hike, that might be problematic. The bathroom could use renovation, but it’s still ok.

Good place to hike from

Perfect "base" for hiking in the region (we had a car) -- we left every day in the morning and came back in the evening after hiking in the wonderful mountains around the accommodation! The room had a kitchenette area with everything you'd need for cooking and prepping sandwiches.

The room feels a bit cramped (no separate sitting area in the kitchen) and the bathroom could use a renovation.

Very beautiful and cosy place with nice hosts. The breakfast was very good and the view froh the balcony was unique. We really had a good time there with lots of hiking.
