Comfortable, quirky and easy distance to Maastricht

It was very clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was very good.

It felt a bit like a hostel with the shared kitchen facilities. Having to walk through the garden to get to and from the car parking isn’t great in wet weather.

This B&B is perfect for those who enjoy interacting with others while traveling.

The hosts were very welcoming, and we really enjoyed talking to them. It always makes travel more interesting when you feel more in touch with those who live in the area that you are visiting. We had a perfect room that included a separate space for our teenage son and a great breakfast.

I have stayed in HollaCachet several times. I like the friendly welcome afforded by the staff, the informality and the semi-rural location, and always look forward to a return visit.

Quiet place in the countryside

The B&B is situated in the beautiful countryside just 7 mins drive from Maastricht. It is a perfect place where to relax and to to hear only birds twitting. The bed was very comfortable. The B&B is in a new building recently renovated by the owner and has some considerable potential.

I can't say the room was dirty but I found some hair on the floor which wasn't mine and in the bathroom there were two big spiders. I mean, the B&B is a country house so not super shocking but still. The owner is a nice person but he should work a bit more on welcoming guests. At my arrival he showed me to my room (and nicely carried my luggage!!) but he didn't explain anything about breakfast so the morning after I was a bit lost and had no idea that if I wanted eggs for example I should have cooked them by myself. I was explained this by some tourists who came before me as the owner came after a while that I was there already having breakfast. Lastly, the rooms are really nice but some details should be adjusted. The carpets for example were rather old and worn out so they make loose value to the room.

Location is just amazing. We literally had the whole place to ourselves. Every aspect was fully thought through and the kids loved it.. we love the garden and the location is just amazing. Rooms were super huge and shower was Great. I can't wait to go back

Peaceful, too short, would have joined the breakfast, since the to-go breakfast bag was yummy.

The location was excellent; a gem; A nice courtyeard, a beautiful place to stay. The staff was very friendly. They went the extra mile to provide me a to-go breakfast/lunch since I had to leave early and couldn't catch the breakfast on location. The staff helped with carrying my luggage. I was totally surprised about this B&B and can recommand it to everyone who likes a quiet, peaceful place. It is 5 minutes by bike from Eijsden ( an old town with lovely restaurants). Or you could go to Maastricht, 0nly 6,5 km away. If you like to bike this is an excellent place to stay for one or more nights.

One night with four friends

The location of the property was great for us as we were travelling to the Formula 1 the next morning. It had a good parking space and a nice garden. We also appreciated the facilities in the big shared living area.

There are however a few things we didn’t like. The details to find the parking of the property need to be requested by the owners, this could have been made more easy. We had two rooms combined on the top floor, where the roof is low and the space around the bed limited. There were traces of leakages around the windows which made a bit dirty impression. We would also have appreciated some mosquito protection in front of the windows; we had to kill around 15 of them before going to bed. Our final remark is about the noise. It started with a party at a close by bar/restaurant which was held outside until very late. When that stopped, the dog of the owners started barking for at least 45min. We tried to reach out to them by phone, but they weren’t home, so that was very inconvenient. In the morning, during breakfast, we expected some kind of apology and questions about our night, but nothing has been addressed. This makes us not recommend this place.

Uniek, gastvrij en onvergetelijk!

Heel vriendelijke eigenaar, duidelijke instructies en de accomodatie is echt een om niet te vergeten. Wij sliepen in de oude stal. Onwijs lekkere bedden. Gezamenlijke ruimte is ook fijn, van alles voorzien! De sauna met borrelplank is zeker een aanrader! Prachtige achtertuin en ligging, lijkt me ook heerlijk verblijven in de lente 😃

Voor ons geen probleem dat het wag gehoriger was, maar als je er niet van houdt. En het was lastig om de ruimte lekker warm te krijgen, maar dat is vast nu rond de koudste tijd van het jaar.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, toller Einrichtungsstil und tolle Lage.

Leider war es im Gebäude trotz Ofen und Heizung relativ kühl, eine Info das es in dem 3er Zimmer nur eine Badezimmer Tür (Bad ist das Durchgangszimmer) gibt wäre super gewesen

Ich entscheide mich dafür, es laut herauszuposaunen, damit alle davon profitieren können. Die Erfahrung ist äußerst angenehm, völlig problemlos, sehr entspannend und gemütlich, angefangen beim ersten Anruf mit freundlicher und aufmerksamer Antwort zur Bestätigung unserer Ankunft über das mit Sorgfalt und persönlicher Aufmerksamkeit zubereitete Frühstück („Wie möchten Sie Ihre Eier?“) bis hin zum gepflegten Garten, der dazu einlädt, ihn zu anderen Jahreszeiten zu besuchen, um zu sehen, wie er sich verändert, sowie einer einfachen und bequemen Busverbindung ins Zentrum von Maastricht. Es ist sehr empfehlenswert und ein Muss, wenn Sie sich in der Nähe von Maastricht aufhalten. The day you find an establishment like B&B Maas in Heuvel Maastricht, cosy, clean, with every detail taken care of, where you feel at home, you have two options: keep the information to yourself so you can enjoy it alone or make it public so others can also enjoy the same experience. I choose to shout it from the rooftops for everyone to enjoy. The experience is extremely pleasant, without any problems, very relaxing and welcoming from the first phone call with a friendly and attentive response to confirm our arrival to the breakfast prepared with care and personalised attention (‘how would you like your eggs?’) to the well-kept garden that invites you to visit at other times of the year to see how it changes, as well as an easy and convenient bus connection to the centre of Maastricht. It is highly recommended and a must if you are in the vicinity of Maastricht.

Jederzeit wieder sehr gerne

Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich, man hatte das Gefühl, bei Freunden zu Hause zu sein. Das ehemalige Bauernhaus ist liebevoll eingerichtet worden und sehr gemütlich. Es gibt nur vier Zimmer. Das Frühstück war unser Highlight. Robin hat direkt neben unserem Platz frisches Rührei und kleine Pancakes zubereitet.

Das leckere Frühstück wäre perfekt gewesen, wenn es noch ein paar kleine Tomaten und ein paar Gurkenscheiben etc gegeben hätte

Heerlijke plek voor een weekend weg!

Het ontvangst was ontzettend vriendelijk, terwijl we veel te vroeg waren. Daarnaast is het ontbijt heel goed verzorgd. De B&B is knus en sfeervol ingericht. Op de 3 persoonskamer mist er mogelijk een (schuif)deur, waardoor de wc gang in de nacht een beetje vreemd is, maar buiten dat is het een heerlijke plek voor een weekend weg!

Het uitgebreide ontbijt aangepast naar eigen wens , de sauna met knabbelplank, de vriendelijke uitbater maakte er graag een groenten- en fruitversie van op ons verzoek, de gezellige eetruimte met zithoekjes, de mooie tuin...
