About this house rental
Your family will enjoy this beautiful 4 bedroom/4 bath log home overlooking Lake Petenwell! Nestled on 2+ acres, this 3700 square foot lodge sleeps 18 and offers a great getaway. The lodge is full of modern conveniences including a commercial ice maker and Keurig coffee maker. There is Roku (no cable) TV and WIFI. You can relax by the fire in the 2- story great room or soak up some sun on the large deck that runs the length of the home. Play catch with the kids in the large back yard or enjoy the outdoor fire pit. Explore nature when walking the community trail along the lake. Sorry, but no motorized vehicles including ATV's are allowed on the lake pathway. There is a workout room and a lower level game room downstairs. If you want to enjoy Lake Petenwell, there's room to park your boat in the driveway then head to Wilderness Park 4 miles away to enjoy the sandy beach and launch your boat. And don't forget Wisconsin Dells is a quick 50 minutes away. We provide basic essentials but not items like salt, pepper, oil, or paper towels. Please plan to bring these.

This home was beautiful and was just perfect for our whole family, ages five to 62. There was something for everyone to do when we were in for the evenings. The property was clean, it was easy to check in, and had a great outside area to relax and play. I would highly recommend this home to all families vacationing together.

We loved how much space this house had. The kids loved all the games downstairs. We loved the fire pit, ping pong table, hammock, and backyard. The kitchen was fully stocked.
Only cons were some of the arcade games and treadmill out of order. We messaged through vrbo with no response. We later realized we were supposed to email the management company.
Upstairs bedrooms had beautiful bright windows, but no blackout curtains. We ended up taping black garbage bags to block out light.
They have a pelaton which was not advertised but we would brought our clipped shoes had we known.
There isn’t direct lake access/lake view but yard is beautiful and functional with kids. We had some baseball games and relays.
Overall great stay and we likely will stay again.

This property was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with pots and pans and utensils. The bathrooms had plenty of towels. The property management team was very responsive with what problems we had. I would stay here again.

The first greeting from Sands was somewhat unwelcoming as basically told us our code and if we dare have more than 18 guests we would be kicked out!! We arrived on Saturday afternoon for our week stay. We drove 15 to 20 miles to attend Mass and hit a grocery store before returning for the evening. There was no way to the lake from the house so had to drive another five miles plus to get to the beach area. Between the green algae and the flies those stays were short lived. We spent two days in the Dells area which was another hour plus drive. We felt like we were on the road a lot. Enjoyed the house except for the dishwasher ( the appliances were the top of the line except the dishwasher. It never accomplished a clean load.)and droppings??? in the exercise room. If your family is just coming together for a visit this is the house for you!! We loved the outside patio!!
