The owner couple is very helpful and dedicated to make their guests feel welcome; beautiful location on the shores of Lake Saimaa with wonderful views (weather dependent); tranquil and peaceful; spacious and clean room with a coffee table and two arm chairs for relaxation (plus sitting room and sauna); down-to-earth atmosphere

The bed is more on the firm side and the room slightly dark.

De ligging vlak aan een meer, midden in het bekende Merengebied. De kleinschaligheid (slechts een paar (typisch Finse houten huisjes, met smaak ingericht)) gaf je het gevoel dat je er bijna alleen zat (misschien ook omdat het "adults only" was). Groot appartement. Interessante historie. Hoewel we deze niet gebruikt hebben: gratis gebruik van roeibootjes, (betaalde) sauna aan het meer, steiger en bankjes aan het water. Prachtige zonsondergang. Feit dat er (bij hun andere locatie, redelijk dicht in de buurt) een (zeer betaalbaar) avondmaal geserveerd werd (restaurants zijn in deze omgeving op één hand te tellen). Goed ontbijt, vriendelijke ontvangst, goede tips.

Asfalt op binnenterrein is een beetje lelijk. Tip: laat er gras groeien. Een beetje kleine badkamer.

The breakfast was excellent - lots of delicious choices. The room was beautiful and the sauna was the best one I have been in since my grandfather's in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! Best evening meal of my life at the owner's other property - please take advantage of that!

Other than the shower is a little small, everything else was great!

Ubytování na nádherném místem u jezera, chutné snídaně, mnoho služeb navíc v rámci ubytování- krásná sauna, veslovací loďky, koupání v jezeře, zastřešený venkovní gril s posezením, šipky. Pokoje čisté, útulné. Dobrá snídaně a moc milá paní hostitelka
