The common areas needed a good dust and vacuum. The breakfast looked good but was outside my price range.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Howe!

Breakfast was excellent. The dining area was amazing. The place is in easy walking distance to a bakery, a grocery store and several good restaurants. The fully equipped kitchen was right outside our door and the washing machine was right there also. The staff were all very kind and helpful. The place has an old world charm about it.

Superb

The hotel is a 200-years old farmhouse with a surprising collection of various vintage stuff inside. Breakfast was served stylish with porcelain and looked fancy. We stayed in 5min walk from our friends' house, so everything could not be better.

There was no hot meal for breakfast (no porridge/fried eggs etc) which was a bit (just a bit) pity. Rooms are quite small and, if you stay in the old building, also stuffy. But it's an ancient house, so be prepared.

My room is small but cozy with lovely countryside style. The garden downstairs is also very nice.

The location is quite remote from the town. There isn't any decent restaurants or cafe nearby. This is an old building which is as usual poor in soundproof. You really hear neighbors in the night.

Attractive place to stay for one night or longer with much local colour. Very good for cyclists too.

The Gästehaus Howe is very atmospheric and a great destination for anyone who appreciates the local architecture and a pretty garden with plenty of fruit trees. The breakfast was provided in a beautiful historic setting. The Gästehaus is located in Bützfleth, outside of but not far from Stade town centre. It is situated on a popular long-distance cycle route. If visitors intend to stay longer, there is a kitchen to use in the accommodation. We had a rustic, pleasant and substantial evening meal at nearby Gasthaus von Stemm. Really good if you like Schnitzel dishes.

Die sinnvolle, zweckmäßige Kombination aus Antiquitäten und notwendigem Modernem gewährleistete einen sehr netten Aufenthalt und einen tiefen Einblick , wie "Muttern" früher gelebt hat ! Der Preis für eine Nacht war super günstig!

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche und haben die Landschaft sehr genossen.

Die Lage der Ferienwohnung war als Ausgangspunkt für Fahrrad und Auto sehr gut. Der Frühstücksraum war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und das Frühstück war schmackhaft und ausreichend.

Die Bäder müssen unbedingt renoviert werden. Beim duschen wird das ganze Bad geflutet und im zweiten Bad war das WC nicht standsicher. Der Pflaumenbaum vor unserer Tür hat seine reifen Früchte jeden Tag verteilt und wir konnten kaum mit sauberen Schuhen in die Wohnung gelangen. Pflücken oder aus dem Weg schaffen wäre gut gewesen.

Sehr schön - gerne wieder

Wir waren sehr von dem über 250 Jahre alten Haus angetan. Es wurde mir Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Für uns 4 Personen war es ein sehr schönes Erlebnis in einem solch tollem Haus zu übernachten. Es war auch ein sehr schöner kleiner Garten zum sitzen vorhanden, wo wir den Abend in gemütlicher Atmosphäre ausklingen lassen haben.

Sehr schöne Ausstattung wie in einem Museum mit Komfort allerdings. Breite Betten mit verstellbarem Lattenrost, wlan Badezimmer. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Nix besonderes aber alles da. Gastgeber sehr freundlich.

Das Haus ist sehr persönlich und schön. Außerdem ruhig gelegen mit einem schönen Garten. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und liebevoll angerichtet.

Es ist recht hellhörig im Haus. Wir hatten das Pech ab 5:30 die Leute im Nachbarzimmer laut palavern zu hören und deren Hund bellte und quietschte unentwegt dazu. Pech eben. Wahrscheinlich gibt es auch stillere Nachbarn.
