Iriana's Apartments in Center

Everything was great. Location was amazing and a short walk from the beach and town

Only gripe we would say was the shower you have to hold to shower yourself. It could do with being on the wall so you can stand underneath it but that’s the only thing we could possibly pick out as a fault.

Clean, comfortable space We got a nice basket of fruits and honey, olive oil and raki complimentary from the host. Host was very nice and responsive. Parking is free street parking, but we never had any issues finding parking. Lots of clothes storage Great big balcony with lovely views. Clothes washing machine was nice to have in the apartment with a clothes drying rack. Location is 15-20 walk to the harbour on a very quiet residential street. The walk was perfect to digest post-dinner.

There’s a church in front of the building that will ring their bells every hour sometimes until midnight lol also you can hear the Sunday mass which lasts several hours on Sunday morning.

Everything we needed for our stay in the apartment was provided. There were two sets of towels, beach towels, dishes, bed linen, a blanket, and disposable slippers. The bathroom was also fully equipped with everything we needed. We were even welcomed with lovely gifts, including honey, olive oil, and raki, which was a very nice touch. There was also fresh fruit and drinking water in the fridge. There were facilities available to wash and dry our clothes, which was very convenient. Mr Stelios, whom we communicated with, was extremely polite and helpful. He responded quickly to all our questions, and we are very grateful for his kindness and assistance throughout our stay.

The only things we didn’t particularly like were the lack of curtains or blinds to cover the kitchen windows and the fact that the TV was not very useful on rainy days when we spent some time indoors. It was an older model without Netflix or similar streaming services, and there were only a few channels. Since we don’t speak Greek, there wasn’t much for us to watch. However, these were only minor issues, as we still had a wonderful time without the TV.

I had to reach out for check in instructions and ask how to turn on the hot water. The apartment looks MUCH nicer in the photos than IRL. Toiket seat was also broken. I was expecting a semi-luxe apartment at that price. It was not. At all. It is not in the centre, it is at least a 25 minute walk. No tea towels, no oven mitts and only 1 garbage bag for a week long stay. Not worth the money IMO.
