Berlin Prenzlauer Berg

Die Schlüsselübergabe im sehr nahen Backshop hat perfekt geklappt. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet mit allem, was man braucht. Die Lage ist optimal für einen Berlinbesuch, fast direkt an der S-Bahn- und U-Bahn-Station gelegen, mitten im lebhaften Prenzlauer Berg und doch im Hinterhaus absolut ruhig.

4. Stock ohne Aufzug ist schon etwas anstrengend, aber man wird durch den schönen kleinen Balkon "ganz oben" wieder etwas entschädigt :)

Lejligheden ligger i en stille gade, og alligevel centralt, ca 300m fra U Bahn.

Super leuke ruimte, fijn huis, erg schoon.

Ik vond het bed niet prettig, maar dat is ook voor iedereen anders.

This was a lovely apartment that faced a courtyard, and it felt like home. It had all the kitchen supplies I needed to make coffee, tea, breakfast (or dinner), and also supplies to clean up. It was clean, beautiful, and a nice combination of modern mixed with traditional old (pre-war) apartment. The host gave clear instructions. The location was totally great: quiet, walkable, about 2 blocks from U-Bahn / S-Bahn, with lots of shopping (especially food!), cafes, and local vibes. It was also easy to get there from the Berlin airport without needing to change trains. The building was conveniently close to all this without being on the main drag. Honestly, it was hard to leave!

Be aware that the apartment is on the 4th floor and there's no lift. There are 20 steps between each of the floors, so if you've got heavy luggage or a mobility impairment, you need to be able to go up 80 steps. By the end of my stay, I was very much accustomed to the climb. The only other thing I might change is a more-comfortable sofa instead of a thin futon, and maybe a small rug under the coffee table to keep it from sliding. The wood floors are beautiful, though!
