Sunny, quiet, cosy and well-kept flat in the countryside. New open kitchen (Dec. 2022), large fridge, dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob. The living room is comfortably furnished and invites you to linger and relax, with TV (incl. DVD player) and radio. The beautiful bedroom is furnished with new bedding (mattresses, duvets, pillows), a large wardrobe and chair storage. An unobstructed view of the mountains and the countryside awaits you. Beautiful garden seating area with far-reaching views of the surrounding mountains. Open car park directly next to the holiday flat. The holiday flat is on the ground floor. The holiday flat is very suitable for senior citizens as there are no steps! Quiet residential area. The holiday flat is close to the village with various shopping facilities (butchery, bakery, village shop, supermarket, flower shop, newsagent with newspapers, bank). A modern and very nice indoor swimming pool with wellness and massage facilities is located in the village centre. Many excursion possibilities to the lake and mountains and the local recreation area Suldtal . Nearby public transport connection and many hiking possibilities.

Excursion possibilities: Suldtal nature reserve: The impressive waterfall is around 20 minutes' walk from the Pochtenfall restaurant. In addition to easy and challenging hikes, the Suldtal offers numerous barbecue, picnic and recreational opportunities.
Niesen "the swiss pyramid": After a spectacular ride on the funicular railway, the view from the viewing platform at 2362 metres offers a fantastic 360° panorama of the imposing Bernese Alps, Lakes Thun and Brienz and across the Bernese Plateau to the Jura.
Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe: An unforgettable day trip to Europe's highest railway station in the high Alpine wonderland at 3,454 metres above sea level is a highlight of any trip to Switzerland.
Lakes Thun and Brienz: There are good boat connections on both Bernese Oberland lakes. While you enjoy a delicious meal or a glass of wine on board, your eyes glide over the lovely shores with their magnificent historic castles up to the highest peaks.

Village description: Aeschi (860 metres above sea level) and the slightly higher situated Aeschiried (1000 metres above sea level) are situated on a sunny terrace and offer a magnificent view of the surrounding mountain panorama and Lake Thun. The village is still characterised by agriculture, folklore and tradition. Away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, Aeschi offers peace, relaxation and unspoilt nature. Thanks to its central location, all the well-known excursion destinations in the Bernese Oberland are within easy reach. Aeschi can be reached quickly and easily by public transport (train to Spiez and bus to Aeschi/Aeschiried) as well as by private car.
