About this house rental
Step out your back door and walk the beautiful Atlantic beach. Or relax by the oceanfront pool. Enjoy the ocean view from the hot tub off the Master deck. Or simply relax on any of the 5 oceanfront decks and watch the dolphins play.
In the evening have your glass of wine on the bay side deck watching the sun set. At night, play a game of pool. Watch movies on the 50" flat screen TV. There are 7 bedrooms and a loft and 4 full baths.
The first floor bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. There is a private full bath on this floor. Washer and Dryer in the utility room
The second floor is reached by a spiral staircase to the 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, the bayside bedroom has 2 full beds and the ocean front has 1 queen bed. The bath is between the two bedrooms in a private hall.
The master bedroom also on the 2nd floor has a king bed with a small sitting area including a sofa and a mini frig. The master has a large bathroom with a 2 person open shower and 2 sinks with separate water closet. There are two decks off the master bedroom one holds the hot tub. Both decks are covered. (Hot tub can be reached from the Oceanside also)
The third floor is reached by a regular staircase and has the additional 2 bedrooms (one with a king and the other with a queen) with the main bath between them. There is also an ocean front living room, 2 separate dining areas, a large bar, kitchen and pool table room. There is a wine frig/drink cooler at the bar. In the pool table area there is an original soda/beer cooler. There is another bedroom below the pool table room with 2 trundle beds and 1 separate twin bed. A great place for the kids!
The deck off the dining area has a large table and chairs for outdoor dining. The deck off the kitchen is bayside for great sunsets and a seating area to enjoy your glass of wine.
All bedrooms have TV's There is a DVD player, stereo, large flat screen TV, gas grill, (propane is not provided but tank is available to fill) outside open shower, free standing ice maker and wireless internet (bring your laptop!)
The pool is available April 1 to October 1 and the hot tub is available all year.

This is our second time staying in the house. It is perfectly located right on the beach on the southern end of the island. The kitchen is absolutely the best equipped kitchen in Sandbridge. It is clean, up to date, has every appliance we needed. In fact we ended up cooking most of our meals there. The owner is extremely responsive and helpful.The outdoor pool is the perfect way to end the day.We started each morning on the deck with a cup of coffee watching the Cormorants and Dolphins in the water.I wish we could have stayed longer!

Great location but funny layout. Spiral staircase was dangerous. Separated fenced pool was good for toddlers. Overall it was pleasant.

The view of the ocean and quick access to the beach were wonderful. And the pool was nice. Large fans in each room were welcome. The kitchen was well-equipped, except for no ice cream scoop or pizza cutter. :-)
Not so wonderful: access to the top/main floor is either via an inside spiral staircase or a long outdoor staircase. The internet connection performance was very spotty. The small fridge behind the bar froze our soda and beer. Possibly because the freezer door is missing? The first floor rooms were not very clean and looked to show damage from flooding in the past. Having a large condo property nearby cause the beach to be crowded. One footer for the stairs up to the hot tub is washed out, hanging in the air. I would recommend: 1) fix/replace small fridge, 2) improve the Internet connection, 3) clarify in the listing that bad knees will be tough and/or make the elevator available to guests, 4) rehab the rooms on the 1st floor, 5) fix the hot tub deck stairs footer.
We had an enjoyable week at the beach with our family, but this property was not the best fit for our family.

Its main entry had a spiral staircase which is hard on older prople and people with bad knees. I feel they should let you use the elevator even if you needed to pay sn extra fee.The master was huge.The third floor only had 1 bathroom for 2 bedroom and the bunk room which 8 people were using.Kitchen and living area was nice with nice balconiesWe had trouble with plumbing in the bathroom but the owner was able to get it fixed. The exterior could use a good power washing to spruce it up and remove the many spiders. There were also ants in the basementThe location was amazing and we all did have a good time My granddaughter 7, did love the spiral staircase to the loft and claimed it as hers!
