About this house rental

Our detached holiday home on the edge of the picturesque town of Veere and near the Veerse Meer guarantees optimal privacy and relaxation!
The holiday home is on one level and has a spacious, enclosed garden of 350 m2 with a terrace with garden furniture, sun beds, BBQ and covered bicycle shed. Come enjoy an unobstructed view over the countryside and watch the sun set from your sun lounger in the evening!
The holiday home has a contemporary design and has every comfort. It has underfloor heating and consists of a living room with seating area, dining area and kitchen with all appliances, two double bedrooms and a luxurious bathroom with rain shower. Both bedrooms have excellent beds (best tested by the consumer association), in the master bedroom the beds are extra long (210 cm). In the living room there is also a sofa bed for two people. The kitchen has a hob with 5 burners, spacious refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, combination microwave, Senseo coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Total area 40 m2. Bed, bath and kitchen linen are included and the beds are made for you. Free WIFI. Baby cot, high chair and baby bath are available free of charge upon request.
For optimal relaxation and wellness, use of the sauna and fitness room is also possible. Use of the fitness room is completely free, sauna use €5.00 pp including sauna towel. These are located in an outbuilding on the same grounds. You can use this privately, with only your own group.
Additional costs: tourist tax € 2.10 p.p.p.n. (to be paid in cash to owner).
The holiday home is located directly on walking and cycling routes. The Veerse Meer is located 1.5 km away, the North Sea beach is 7 km away. The beautiful historic city of Middelburg is a 7-minute drive away. The historic cities of Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp are also easily accessible.

The house is cute and clean. It has everything you need. It is small, as advertised, and every cm is functional. The host lives on the property, but detached, making them very accessible. The setting is beautiful, looking over a farm field with a patio and lawn to enjoy the setting sun. The main road is close and gives easy access to Veere and Middelburg. 25 minute bike ride to the beach.

We rented the house for two weeks in a period where most people wouldnt go anywhere, for the two of us. We like the quiet. The house is comfortable when it comes down to shower (huge compared with the rest), floor heating (nice warm feet), bed (matras) and micro wave/dish wasser/fridge. However this house is more like a barn than a house. The house is divided in length in basically two skinny spaces: 1 is the living and the kitchen (appr 1-1,5 m bij appr 10m), the other long skinny space has two bedrooms an the shower. One of the bedrooms is just big enough for the two persons bed. There is no room to walk. You have to get in via the feetside. The other bedroom has a very small space to sort of walk. The shower is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen appliance is just enough, still not what you might expect for the money you pay. There is for instance not a blender or a vase for flowers. More important is that the TV is not smart at all and very small in front of a not very comfortable two seat bench. In a small space one would expect the TV attached to a swing arm in order to make as much use as possible in that tiny skinny space of a living. It hasnt. We left. We had to, since we were getting depressed. After being inside for two days we decided to leave that morning. So, we went to an hotel for the remainder of our stay in Zeeland. Of course we had a talk via whatsapp with the owner (who wasnt there when we left). We felt it was unfortunate the way in which this was dealt with financially. So, all in all we are not very pleased to say the least. A shame since the location is great. It wouldnt take much to create a great place to stay. However it would cost money :) So, I am sorry to say we dont recommend this place for a stay longer than some days with two people, basically passing through.

Uns hat es mit unserem 5 Monate alten Sohn total gut gefallen. Das Haus ist gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Das kleine Schlafzimmer eignete sich total gut um mit Baby darin zu schlafen, da es nicht rausfallen konnte. Die Sauna haben wir auch genossen. Die Gastgeberin ist total nett. Ein Stern Abzug für die Lage, da man auf ein Auto angewiesen ist, um beispielsweise einkaufen zu gehen oder Brötchen fürs Frühstück zu holen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Häuschen ist wunderschön, geschmack- und stilvoll eingerichtet, mit allem was man braucht! Die vermietende Familie ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend! Die Umgebung ist einfach schön und mit dem Fahhrad wunderbar zu erkunden! Wir kommen wieder!

Das Haus war super sauber! Und Platz ist in der kleinsten Hütte. Da hatten wir anfangs Bedenken, aber bei Sommer Wetter, haben wir uns viel draußen aufgehalten und hatten kleine regennasse Kleidung usw. Mit Winterjacken/Schuhen für 4Leute wärest schon arg voll geworden. Der Garten ist traumhaft. Die Schmetterlinge fliegen, die Vögel zwitschern, wenn es dunkel wird kommen Fledermäuse und Eulen vorbeigeflogen....der Sonnenuntergang ist täglich garantiert. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig! Veere ist ein wunderhübsches Städtchen und auch Middelbourg, Oostkapelle, Domburg sind schnell erreicht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Es handelt sich um ein kleines, gemütliches Ferienhäusche mit eigener Terasse und Garten. Die Einrichtun und Sauberkeit sind top! Auch die Sauna und der Fitnessbereich sind eine tolle Bereicherung für einen Urlaub. Allerdings liegt das Ferienhaus nicht wie beschrieben "alleine" in der freien Natur sondern es ist neben dem Haus der Vermieter. Auch die Vermieter nutzen den Fitnessraum und die Sauna. Es gibt eine Tafel wo die Nutzungszeiten vorher eingetragen werden müssen. Das hat aber super funktioniert und wir konnten immer saunieren und Fitness machen wann wir wollten. Unter Strich ein schönes Ferienhäuschen und ein netter Aufenthalt. :)

Erg genoten van de rust, lieve eigenaresse. Er ligt een boek met regels voor je klaar in het huisje, waaruit blijkt dat veel dingen niet gedoogd zijn. Deze regels worden niet in de advertentie/ het huurcontract aangegeven. Denk hierbij aan geen flessen en geen gasten tenzij van tevoren aangegeven. Ook vonden we kruimels in de magnetron. Naast dat, prima huisje, erg genoten. Fijne service+fijn contact met eigenaresse. Flexibel . Erg genoten!

De cottage was nog mooier dan op de foto’s en Rianna is een geweldige gastvrouw. Zowel in luxe en alle eenvoud van alle gemakken voorzien en de privé sauna met gym maakt het een pareltje. Mooi gelegen aan de rand van Veere met uitzicht over de velden. Vloerverwarming, een heerlijk bed, riante douche en volledige keuken ter beschikking. Onthaasten! Als er een minpuntje te noemen is, dan is het de luidruchtige afzuigkap. De cottage is zeker een aanrader en zeer zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Wij verbleven hier van 7-11 januari 2021.

Fijn en compleet huisje voor maximaal 2 volwassenen en eventueel kinderen. Voor meerdere volwassenen lijkt ons het huisje te krap. Heerlijk ruime tuin, volledig privé met fraai uitzicht op het Zeeuwse land. Prima uitvalsbasis aan de rand van Veere.

Sehr schönes sauberes kleines Haus mit allem was benötigt wird. Es fehlt an nichts. Selbst eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden. Morgens beim ersten Kaffee kamen und hin und wieder ein paar Hühner besuchen. ;-) Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und herzlich. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.
