This beautifully appointed log home is situated on 2.5 natural acres with 180 degree Cook Inlet and Kachemak Bay views,. The home (1920 sq ft) has 3 bedrooms, (4 beds), 1 queen, 2 full and 1 twin bed. 2 bath and a deluxe kitchen. The Acclaimed View Log Cabin is less than 6 miles from downtown Homer and offers a comfortable, quiet and beautiful environment. Moose visit the property almost daily as do Sandhill Cranes, Pheasant and rabbit. Occasionally a black bear will wander through. Amenities include high speed WiFi, fully equipped kitchen with appliances, microwave, gas range and oven, abundant hot water, dishwasher, DVD player. radio, TV, outdoor BBQ, large view windows and more.
Enjoy the natural beauty of Alaska in comfort: I welcome you to this handcrafted log cabin built on 2.5 acres overlooking Kachemak Bay, Cook Inlet and three active volcanoes. The expansive views (photographed from windows of the log cabin) add immensely to ones experience. Moose and other animals commonly are spotted on the property, especially during the evenings and early mornings. All this as you enjoy your morning cup of coffee, or evening activities, undisturbed and in peace. This home is loaded with amenities, is very comfortable and convenient, only a 12 minute drive (less than 6 miles) to downtown Homer. You will find the house to be squeaky clean. The Log Home's view was spectacular, the house was very clean, a female and male moose went by our windows, 20 minute drive from "The Spit" in Homer, and quiet area.

Great stay. Very accommodating. Plenty of room for 2 couples. There is a 3rd bedroom down stairs which we did not use. Home is a little dated.

Minutes from town but quiet in nature. House was not equipped for a family of 6. Towels/forks??? No black out curtains makes it hard to sleep in AK in summer!!
