Winzerhof Wörner was absolutely fabulous !

Winzerhof Wörner was definitely one of the best properties we stayed at so far. It had everything we needed and more. - Big comfy bed, - Nice big living room with a smart TV (with built in Netflix app) - Fully equipped kitchen - A sofa bed in the living room, that could be turned into a bed (for 2 people) - Chairs and a table in the living room - Set of lounge chairs and a small coffee table on the balcony - A very nice balcony, with a view on the orchard - Despite it being on a busy farm (vineyard + orchard) it was absolutely quiet - The hosts were brilliant, and very friendly and helpful - The owners operated a small shop on the premises, where we were able to buy fresh fruit from their orchards, every day - it was delicious. Same shop also sold wine and other things like schnapps made from the same fruit we were buying to eat. - One of the owners spoke English, which made our life 100% easier, as we do not speak German. - The apartment was very comfortable, with a lot of space (it's pretty big). - The place had special blackout shutters, which allowed for keeping the place nice and cool, despite the outside temperatures reaching almost 40C several times ! - There were several great restaurants in the nearby village, 5 - 10 min walk from the place itself, making it a brilliant spot ! - Great price, which included a local tourist tax, which gave us a special card, allowing us to use local: buses, trains for free, and also get free access to a local swimming pool in Durbach !! (that was the best par as you can imagine, knowing how hot it was during our stay). - There were also a lot of very well signed hiking trails around Durbach, which we loved (lots of amazing views)! - If I could I would give this place 12 points instead of 10 :) It's absolutely one of the best places we visited so far. Massive thanks to the Wörner family for being so welcoming and friendly! We absolutely loved staying at Winzerhof Wörner, and had a fantastic time !

Great stay in lovely location with super family.

The property is on a farm in the village of Durbach & is surrounded by orchards & vinyards. The hosts were all very friendly & helpful. They had their own fruit & vegetables for sale as well as wine & schnapps from their own vinyard all at very reasonable prices. The centre of the village is about 10 to 15 minutes easy walk & has a good choice of restaurants. However the kitchen in the apartment was fine if we wished to eat in.

Only slight problem was apartment was up 2 flights of stairs but hostess helped with luggage.

Recommended apartment for a wine trip.

Fresh fruit on arrival, extra large bed, extremely clean, free coffee. Quiet and large apartment with all the amenities. The large balcony faces south and you can have sun almost all the day and enjoy sunset.

Perfect verblijf!

We werden hartelijk ontvangen met vers fruit van de boerderij. De eigenaren zijn super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het appartement is erg schoon en is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het uitzicht is prachtig en je kunt mooi wandelen in de omgeving. Wij hopen hier nog eens terug te keren en zullen het iedereen aanraden!
