Peaceful, Amazing Owner and Comfortable Bed!

This is the perfect accommodation if you're looking for peace and calmness during your trip to Nusa Penida! The Bungalows look great, with some minor cosmetic issues inside. The owner is a really cool person, very talented at playing the guitar and the drums, we jammed together and had an amazing time. He also rented me a scooter for a regular price. Breakfast was delicious every morning, there are only 2 options but for me it was more than enough, also since most people don't spend more than 2 or 3 days in Nusa Penida. To reach this location it's better if you have your own scooter, as I walked on foot to reach there and it took me almost 1 hour from the harbour, also the stray dogs can be aggressive. 100% recommend this accommodation and I hope to return one day! Thank you my friend!

Cute place run by a lovely family — nice option for a comfy stay away from the croud.

Lovely couple running the place. They are always there with a smile when you need them. The breakfast is decent, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the bathrooms are clean and spacious, with both hot and cold water. The place is located on the west side and has a supermarket and other small restaurants around. It is nice to wake up to a view such as that—away from the hustle and bustle of the market. Can easily spend a few days here.

Good experience overall, though the breakfast could use some fruit. You know — a few slices of whatever is fresh. :)

Everything was great, specially the house owner! Hecand his wife are very supportive and helpful… the house owner dropped me by his bike to harbour when I was chasing taxis!! Can you imagine how lovely this family is??

A lovely stay and would return.

The property was lovely with a great view from the porch. Breakfast was nice and it was a good location for exploring the island and you can hire a scooter from them. The room itself was good, although nothing special. The owner is great though and happy to help with anything.

The room could do with a little modernising and the door to the room didn’t close properly. We also had a cockroach in the room but fortunately it was our last night and we only saw in the morning.

Absolutely loved my stay at Mount Sea View Bungalow!

Such a warm and welcoming place — it truly feels like home. The atmosphere is family-oriented, peaceful, and the view of the forest is just beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable, and it's only a 12-minute scooter ride from the center, so the location is perfect. The owners are incredibly kind and caring — they really go out of their way to help with anything you need. You can rent a scooter directly from them and they also offer other convenient services, which made everything so much easier. I'll definitely stay here every time I come back to Nusa Penida. Highly recommended!

This property is so lovely. It’s quiet, calm and the view to wake up to in the morning is just breathtaking. The bedrooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The owner is so lovely and helpful, there to answer all questions/needs. I highly recommend this lovely accomodation!

Lovely people made you feel like part of the family,short drive/scooter from harbour and restaurants also quick ride to Gamet and Crystal bays for great snorkeling.

The view from the house was amazing. The host and family were beyond nice! They were super helpful!

There were some bugs found in the bathroom. But for the price we pay, we were not fussy at all. It’s pretty common in the whole region.

The location and view is amazingly beautiful. The room and bathroom is pretty and nicely set up. The staff are all nice. The wifi was great and the room had air conditioning which was amazing.

They didn't provide any bottled water and not enough toilet paper for the duration of our stay (keeping in mind indonesia makes use of a spray rather than toilet paper). The water pressure in the shower wasn't great but at least was hot and did the job.

Breathtaking views & such a peaceful place to stay

We stayed in Mount Sea View Bungalow for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it! The scenery, the view and the surroundings are breathtaking and the place is so peaceful! Our room was very comfortable, we liked so much having our breakfast in the balcony, enjoying the views. The owner’s daughter is such a nice girl, very helpful!Highly recommended!

Very nice and comfortable stay

We had one day stay. Property is small but it's beautiful, well maintained with all basic amenities in place. View from property is nice. Care taker/owner was really nice and guided us well about the island tour , things to do, places to eat nearby. Location wise it is not very far from the harbour and hence suited our requirement. We got options to choose in breakfast.

Amazing view, perfect to sit on the porch and chill. Very nice guesthouse owner who is very helpful. His family is great. 3 mins walk to a mart to buy any essentials and a cafe with good lunch and dinner.

Beautiful view

This is a great accommodation. We particularly enjoyed the magical view over the sea and the mountains. So lovely! Breakfasts are delicious and you can choose from several options AND it is brought to your bungalow so that you can eat and enjoy the view, the nature around. The host is the kindest person on the island and would do anything for you (transfer, trips, scooters and so much more). The location is great as you are close to the harbour and 30mins away from all the biggest attractions. Crystal beach is just 10min ride away. 10min walk away you can find the best restaurant on the island: Kitchen Steak. I recommend this place so much. Thank you, Wayan, for everything.

Its a new property with a great view from all the cottage. Nice quiet place hosted by a lovely family. They will cater to your needs like scooter renting, breakfasts and also drop off to the harbour. Really liked how hospitable everyone was. Would love to visit again.

Its a great place with clean rooms and beautiful view from the balcony. Only thing missing from the rooms were basic amenities like tea, coffee, or toiletries. The host can increase the price per room by little much to include these. Don't think someone will mind paying a little more but its really nice to have these included as part of the room.

Just ok.

Cute location in Nusa Penida & family run, but the stay here was just alright. I liked the view and the porch area--but hey on Nusa Penida, you're probably not gonna be spending your time watching the views from your hotel but from a beach somewhere. The biggest plus is how close they are to crystal bay--which is the best places on Nusa Penida to actually swim!!! Nusa has a bunch of beaches that have gotten crazy famous due to how ridiculously stunning their cliffside views are (Diamond Beach, Kelingking Beach, etc.). What the photos don't tell you is that you cannot swim in that picture perfect water--the waves are large and powerful, the undertow is very strong and surf often beaks on rock ledges. The good news: crystal bay. Crystal bay is a 10min scooter ride from Mount Sea View and a great place to go watch the sunset, relax with a book and swim or go snorkeling.

The location of the bungalows on Booking.com is not correct. It's close, but the location shown (actually by the Kira Homestay) is just down the road from where the Mount Sea View Bungalows actually is. I also couldn't find it on google when I entered the address from Booking.com or searched on gmaps. They have a sign visible from road coming from the ferry terminal which is how I found it. The bungalows are down an unpaved side road the leads off of a turn-off along side the main road. I'd messaged the host about 3 hours before arriving to ask if the name had recently changed or if it was listed differently on gmaps and he didn't get back to me until after I'd actually found the homestay. Upon arrival, the host himself was not there.

amazing, the owners who works at the property were amazing. our stay came with breakfasts which was a life saver. they also rent cheap and very good bikes. if you need any tours they also sort it for such an affordable price. the property was very clean and hot and cold water was a massive plus ! would highly recommend it ! 5******

really nice stay with great views, nice host and good breakfast. about 10 min away from banjur nyuh (beach) and situated on the main road to go to the west and south of the island (kelingking beach, crystal bay etc). 100% would recommend

the last 100m its a dirt path so can be triky with the bags and we had a couple power outrages but only lasted for a couple of mins. overall great stay

The people, like in Bali, are really helpful and extremely friendly. The view was amazing and it's kinda in the middle of the island going from north (where the port is) to south, where the T-Rex is. So, you can easily reach Crystal Beach, T-Rex, Broken Beach and Angel Billabong.

The internet speed was pretty bad. So it's not a place where you can come to work. Also, from time to time you may have unexpected visitors if you keep the door open. We had a big geko inside, but was taken out by the host :)
