The modern yet cozy house features a balcony overlooking the water, and an open floor plan downstairs allows for maximum water views from the kitchen, dining, and living areas thanks to an expanse of windows across the entire first floor. Two upstairs bedrooms also offer lookouts onto the ever-changing natural vista.
Relax in a rocking chair with a book or spend the day in the fresh air by taking advantage of the private dock just 50 feet away from the house. Swim at high tide or embark on a nature walk on the firm mud flats during low tide, when tidepools capture sea creatures that delight all ages. When hunger strikes, fire up the gas grill and gather around the table on the patio, which also features water views, or cook in the fully equipped kitchen outfitted with a gas stove and basic pantry supplies.
The off-the-beaten-path home makes for a serene and peaceful getaway, yet there are many excursions that might tempt you to leave the house. The house was perfect for our family Thanksgiving. An open first floor floor plan is well-designed, and great for entertaining, conversation and relaxation. The views across the Annisquam River to the open Atlantic are stunning.

The house was very clean. We were there in a storm and it proved to be well insulated, couldn’t hear the wind much at all. The couches and chairs in the living space were comfortable. Beds were comfortable. More than enough storage places to unpack and make yourself at home. The views from the living room and upstairs balcony were amazing. Everything (stores, grocery, restaurants, beaches) is literally 10-12 mins away.
