About this house rental
This is a chalet on 15 acres, 5 minutes from gore mountain and 30 minutes from Lake George. It has 2 bathrooms & 6 bedrooms. It’s has a rustic charm. There’s a wood stove for the winter (please supply your own firewood), along with a cozy kitchen. Down stairs in the basement is a TV, perfect for movies. (Please bring your own fire stick) this cabin is perfect for a ski/snow boarding trip, family getaway, girls weekend , & more. Things to note* there is no dishwasher * you are on the side of the mountain and you will lose internet sometimes * comforters/sheets/towels/ are provided. * silverware is provided along with plates. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask. We hope you enjoy your stay.

This is definitely a hunting cabin in the woods. The bedrooms were so comfortable and the showers were hot with excellent water pressure. There were some creepy crawlers in the cabin, but tucked right into the woods the way it is, it can’t be avoided. We enjoyed our stay, just make sure you bring food.

The house is lovely knotty pine throughout. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. Many of our bakery and breakfast items were invaded by ants and thus inedible; even when food was placed in the microwave.The online write up said there would be fans for the bedroom windows. The was only 1 fan for 4 bedrooms. Luckily we were able to borrow 2 from a cousin: it was very hot .When I arrived on Wednesday afternoon my bedroom heaters were on and I didn't know how to turn off. Thank goodness my son in law turned off the next day. I texted the number I had for owner. No response.All in all we were so happy to have found this last minute rental as our original reservation with Inn at Gore Mountain was abruptly cancelled,with no explanation or warning.The downstairs pool table was enjoyed by the men and the children enjoyed the impressive number of movies.I would stay here again and I can imagine it is a wonderful winter ski getaway.
