The beautiful garden; the tastefully furnished room with an en-suite bathroom featuring modern sanitary fittings; the breakfast buffet with fresh fruit… They describe themselves as a 2-star hotel, even though they’re far better than any of the 4- and 5-star hotels I’ve stayed in so far in Spain!

Lovely gem of a hotel 10 minutes walk to the centre/beach etc, pool are was lovely in beautiful gardens, the owner was very friendly helpful and attentive would highly recommend this hotel

We had a very nice stay overall. The hotel is a great find in Cadaqués: quiet, relaxing, and very close to the center. The room was comfortable, and we enjoyed the pool and the convenience of having parking available. Breakfast was included, which we appreciated, even if the selection was a bit limited. Gina and Alex, who seem to run the hotel, were kind and welcoming during the first days of our stay and made us feel comfortable. Alex especially was great and even remembered my coffee every morning, great coffee by the way.

There were a few points that could be improved. The parking area is quite small and can be difficult to use with a larger car. Although we were told there would always be a spot, this was not always the case. On our last day, there was an uncomfortable interaction at reception regarding bottled water and taking a very small amount of leftover breakfast (a slice of toast and a croissant). We had previously been given water without being informed that it had an extra cost, so this was unclear to us. The situation was communicated in a rather abrupt and passive-aggressive way, which was surprising and disappointing given how positive the stay had been until then. A clearer and more polite explanation would have made a big difference.
