We stayed 3 weeks at this property and enjoyed the view from the sunroom the most! The location was private and not too far from the park or Bar Harbor. We arrived after dark so note the front door is on the left side of the house down an uneven stone path. There is a motion light that can be set to come on. The master bedroom is large and nice -- it is upstairs along with a small bedroom that has no closet. The bedroom downstairs has no place for hanging clothes due to the washer and dryer being in the closet. The downstairs bathroom is right off the kitchen and not the bedroom. None of these things caused us a big issue -- just sharing to be aware. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

The house was lovely and perfect for two couples. We enjoyed sitting out by the water to watch the sunset when we were back to the house in time to catch it. My only suggestions would be to have the AC fixed in upstairs bedroom because it was really hot. Also, have some larger frying pans available to cook with. Other than that, we loved it. Thank you!

Beautiful property. Close to Acadia and all the hiking fun, far enough away from the crowds. The place was clean and they even stocked some wood for the outdoor fire pit. Gorgeous sunsets over the water. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely time here! The view from the sunroom was incredible. The kids loved catching crabs and finding oysters at low tide right in the backyard. The gazebo was lovely for having lunch and enjoying the views. The sunroom was a great rest spot after hiking or exploring Acadia.We rented kayaks for the week and were able to drop-in right in the backyard. It's not too far to paddle to the mouth of the Union River up the bay, and we spotted a few seals.Acadia was not too far away, and we found we really enjoyed being a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of the island. The house was clean and the kitchen well-stocked. We loved our stay here - it was one of the best rentals we've stayed in.
