Newly renovated and fully furnished large one bedroom apartment in beautiful 100 year old three story brick Tudor home, located in trendy Ballard neighborhood. King size bed and queen pull out can sleep up to four in 600 sq. ft lower level apartment. Large living room, kitchen and bath with Wi-fi, TV and utility room available. Our basement apartment offers lots of privacy with off-street parking and your own separate entrance. Conveniently located just a 4 minute walk to express buses for easy access to Seattle Center, Pike Place Market, downtown and all the other wonderful attractions Seattle has to offer. All of Ballard’s trendy restaurants, bars and coffee shops are close as well as the Ballard Locks, Golden Gardens beach and the Nordic Heritage Museum. We’d love to host your next Seattle visit.

Alice's apartment was just what I needed for a two-week stay in the area visiting family. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped.The location was a short walk away from shops and restaurants. Alice was readily available to answer any questions I had.

The property is in a perfect location. The owner greeted me when I checked in and gave me a quick tour and then ensured privacy for the rest of the visit. The amenities were above adequate and a location was quiet. I would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay! Location is great with lots of walkability and easy access via car or public transit to downtown. Communication with Alice was easy and she was so welcoming. Having a driveway parking spot is a huge bonus. The unit is a great size and was perfect for my husband, my toddler and myself for the weekend. We hope to be back in the future.

The house was in a decent location to downtown Seattle and was very spacious if that’s what you’re looking for. As for the actual stay, it was just fine. Nothing special and not as clean as I am used to rentals I’ve stayed at being. There was no soap at either sink (bathroom or kitchen) to wash your hands. It also said that soap for the shower would be provided, but all that was there was leftover bar soap. I am fine using my own at home, but it seems unsanitary to use after a stranger. Luckily I brought my own. Communication with the host wasn’t great either, but if you are mainly just looking for a place to sleep, this is a fine option.

We had a great experience staying at the Ballard Tudor. The owner let us check in early which saved a headache. The location of the property was perfect, right in the middle of Ballard, walking distance to just about anywhere in Ballard. The apartment was exactly as advertised, it was a decent sized, cute, well appointed, clean one bedroom apartment with off street parking. We couldn't recommend the place more.

Alice is a wonderful host. We checked-in pretty late at night, and Alice was more than accommodating. Her basement apartment is very roomy and comfortable, and the off-street parking in the driveway is a nice bonus. There’s also free off-street parking if needed as well. The neighborhood is lovely, and there are restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The bus stop is only a few blocks away, which can get you anywhere you need to go in Seattle. We took the bus to Climate Pledge Arena to see the Kraken, and it was very convenient and affordable. We had a great stay - would definitely stay here again!

This is a great location to Ballard and downtown Seattle. Alice was a gracious host and very responsive. The apartment is very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to cook. One of the pluses is the off street parking! We will definitely stay here again on another visit.

We stayed for 2 days in Alice’s bottom floor rental. We had the entire bottom floor which offered a large bedroom, living area with large TV, sofa-sleeper, chair, coffee table and fireplace. The kitchen was well supplied and laundry washer and dryer available in the basement entryway. The bathroom was small with quite small shower, but the water stream was strong and we had plenty of hot water. The location is convenient to going all places of interest, and parking off street in Alice’s driveway was a plus. Overall, we were very pleased with the rental and would rent again.
