Petaluda House 3

Me and my friend had a lovely stay at Petaluda House, all the facilities were as shown and the beds were comfortable. The room was spacious and tidy, absolutely cozy! Staff was incredibly nice and the communication was good! Nothing to complain there to be honest, 100% recommended. And the location is really good too, near Victoria Square and the metro, with lots of places to eat and take a break.

This doesn't really have anything to do with the place, but keep in mind it's shared common areas (such as the kitchen and bathroom) so be wary of that fact and that not everyone is as responsible as you'd expect. Thankfully for us there weren't any major issues (just one night someone forgot to turn off the kitchen sink and the water running woke us up). For the rest, everything was good!

Nice large rooms, great value for money and good location!

Didn't have reception or anyone on site, which is all good but there are shared facilities like bathrooms and kitchen. For example there was a drunk man on my floor of the building who when I arrive home was passed out on his bed with the door open, and then later I could hear him stumbling around. As a solo women traveller I didn't feel that comfortable with that situation knowing there wasn't any staff onsite,. however there are locks on all bedroom doors and it is a great deal money wise but just FYI for people who might be more concerned with safety.

It was clean and we had a lovely little balcony! There were plenty of markets, cafes, and restaurants around, and it's just two metro stops from the center. The AC worked well too!

The mattress was barely softer than a concrete slab. The springs were digging into my hips and shoulders all night. That's my only complaint, but it definitely made the experience less pleasant.
