It’s nice and unique. Carpets throughout halls are torn and broken tile in elevator. I’ve been here before but don’t remember things like that. It seems to nice of a place, price, location to not be up to date on simple things like that. Should be kept up more.

Loved it. We upgraded our room (decided we wanted a balcony) after we had our keys, and they had no problem adding a charge and working outside of the app to do so. Kind and courteous staff never made us feel like a burden. Great location and experience!

My best friend and cousin (same person I like efficiency) and I decided to get outta town for the weekend. I stayed at the Zermatt in the early 2010s for a work conference and remembered the rooms were nice and a bit plush. When I saw the price on the app I jumped!
Turns out I time jumped back to 2011. Nothing has changed in a decade and a half. This room is the exact same. Instead of plush it is dated and shabby. It's not shabby chic.
The TV is smaller than my husband's computer monitor and makes hearing the show impossible. It's ok because the cable is like 2006 speeds. Wretched!
Now I didn't come to the literal Alps of the U.S. to watch TV . The scenery is amazing! And the grounds are well kept in a very second hand theme park way. The building is another story. The hallway carpet is disgusting.
I have not checked out the pool this trip. There was an entire school bus load of children burning off rocket pops and Mountain Dew each time we passed. I love this journey for their parents. I'm on a different path this weekend.
Finally there is no counter space in the bathroom. There's a 10' inch shelf behind the toilet. Make sure you keep the lid closed so you don't accidentally flush your floss.
There's a weird desk in the room. I'm sure a fake historical document was written upon it. It's fugly. You can put stuff on it.
In summary, if you want to wear your kids out and don't expect a lot from the room, do it. If you think there's going to be something a little plush, please look elsewhere.
