    The location is a short 5 minute walk to a shrine, next door is a smaller shrine , and you’re surrounded by food and shopping ! It’s a 10minute walk to Pontocho Alley —a must see! The hotel staff were so so kind and check in was so easy. The beds are firmer so keep that in mind and the AC is central so you’re not able to change the settings but the location and views outside the window are wonderful . Well worth coming back for a longer stay!

    Great, spacious room with all the amenities we needed. Liked having the self service laundry for Y400. One complaint was the central air con which was not a good temperature. And the room was very humid.

    If you want a great location, this is it. On a quiet street in Gion, it is perfect. short walks to Bus stops, temples, food and shops. The room was clean and comfortable. Now the bad part. You have to pay extra to have room cleaned. they will give you more towels , only if you ask front desk. The front desk is a big problem. Many times there's no one there. When they are there, some have bad attitudes and some are not Japanese, so they are not versed with the area or language. Don't bother asking for help as they are not willing or give wrong info. My stay was fine, it's a perfectly nice hotel, just don't ask the staff for anything.
