    The room was better than expected, looks exactly like the photos and had the Kyoto-feel charm with all of the wood accents. The staff was extremely friendly and they were able to hold our luggage on the day of checkout for a few hours which allowed us to finish our Kyoto exploration!

    This was one of my fave hotels I stayed in throughout my Japan trip - Great location again - close to the main station and also close to all restaurant's / shops and the river for an evening stroll .. beautiful hotel, great staff and one of my favourite cities in the world - I will be back!

    Great bed, pillows, shower was amazing, even the shampoo and conditioner/ soap provided didn't feel like it would strip your skin like usual hotel ones - for the girlies or guys (not discriminating!) I said not to clean my room /do not disturb and they left a bag of all the essentials they would normally replace on my door handle which I thought was very thoughtful. Would come back again if I came back to Kyoto!
