Whispering Hills

The hotel is newly built and was clean. It justified the price paid. Caretaker was nice and helping with the parking. Parking was bit tricky. Many sight seeing points and cafes are nearby. Recommended for visit.

Ours was a 3 day trip , 1 day in Ooty and 2 days in kotagiri.We stayed hear for a day, we loved the cottage, it's a new place opened only 1 week back, neat rooms and clean bathroom , it has nice garden to walk and bonfire setup. It doesn't have a fan but you don't need one it was soo cold during night even in peak summer ( we visited in May) . Affordable price at City centre. Bathroom had toiletries and room had a coffee maker, It would have been better if they also provided dental kit, maybe they would have provided if we asked but we didn't ask. Care taker vinod is very helpful, we checked out early for site seeing he recommended few places , and he kept our luggage safe untill we returned back . We took toy train did some site seeing and returned to stay to collect our luggage, when we were 2 kms away from our stay our rented bike(which we rented from Mysore , it was road trip from Mysore to ooty to kotagiri and back to Mysore) started having a problem somehow we came till the cottage and my husband parked the bike and went looking for repair shops and no repair shops were open near by since it was Sunday and my husband returned back to cottage we asked Vinod if he knows any local mechanic and lucky for us he happens to be a mechanic, apparently it's a small issue with spark plug and he fixed it and we thanked him a lot and left worry free to kotagiri . We would definitely recommend this place especially because of the service provided by care taker Vinod ( thank you for helping us in a deficult time🙏).
