    Strictly no early check in hotel, strictly cannot leave your luggage in the hotel! The staff suggested to keep the luggage at tourist centre which are two blocks away and we have to pay. The staff will show unwelcome face and unfriendly tone. Though hotel check in time is 3pm and we are long waited outside, not allowed to stand near the hotel entrance though we did not block the way.! long Q outside to wait for check in. The staff don’t bother and don’t care, checked in later than 3pm. 1001 house rule you have to follow, if not will have fined. Breakfast have no eggs or scrambled eggs. When asked, the old lady with spectacles will tell you DON’T HAVE! If you have better options, please select a better one to avoid unnecessary stress and tense. We are there for holiday to relax! Moreover the hotel is not cheap. We do not deserve poor customer service.

    The place was comfortable, had updated rooms in a historic building, and was in a great location with awesome views. Their breakfast is good for being buffet style. Their limited facilities (i.e. sauna) are, however, open during wierd hours, and when we did try to use them staff said they were closed (during their posted hours of use). It may have been for maintenance but this wasn't clear. The staff were polite if a little reserved. We did not eat lunch or dinner since there were limited daily options, but there is a nice outdoor dining area onsite. Another plus is they have vending machines with soda, coffee, and beer (nice surprise). Be aware you're not supposed to bring outside food and drink. Would recommend, for an affordable and comfortable stay, just don't expect anything too fancy.

    We paid to have breakfast included which was rationed daily. No eggs for 2 mornings and on 1 morning staff handed us 1 egg each only. We had to pay for tap water too which we have never experienced before. The rudeness and surly attitude of all staff made us feel like we were the problem for all staff. Definitely would not recommend nor would we stay here again. It was out second visit here too.

    The room was excellent—very clean, spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. It was easily the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the hospitality was the complete opposite. The elderly lady who appeared to be managing the breakfast and reception was extremely unfriendly and came across as arrogant. When I politely asked her about one of the breakfast items (none of the food was labeled), she completely ignored me and kept talking to herself in German, as if I wasn’t even there. It was a very disrespectful way to treat a guest and unprofessional. Breakfast is advertised until 10:00 AM, yet by 9:30 AM many items had already been cleared away, leaving very little choice for guests who arrived well before the stated closing time. There were also no labels on any of the food, making it difficult to know what was being served. After reading other guest reviews, I noticed that several people have also commented about an older female staff member being rude, dismissive, or unwelcoming, so my experience unfortunately does not seem to be an isolated incident. It’s a shame because the rooms are genuinely excellent, but good accommodation cannot make up for poor customer service. A little courtesy and respect toward guests would make a huge difference.
