    We checked in at around 10pm and when we entered into our room, I saw that the bidet was not usable because it didn’t have a knob to dispense water. We also noticed that the air-conditioning was not working. We waited for about 30 minutes, informed the front desk and they sent maintenance over. They did a few checks and confirmed that the air-conditioning was in fact spoilt. So, the hotel moved us over to a new room. There were no towels prepared, the bidet did not have water supply, the telephone was not working. I had to call the front desk via my handphone to inform housekeeping about the towels. A few minutes later, I had to call the front desk via my handphone again to ask for maintenance because we had noticed that the air-conditioning was not working properly again. The room felt stuffy especially for my mum who is a senior citizen. Maintenance came over to check the vent and removed the filter because they said it was dirty. They mentioned that they would send coolers to the room if the room was still not cold in another 30 minutes, but it was already 11.30pm and the situation was still the same. We were very tired, so we decided to put up with the condition of the room. We went over to the front desk to inform them that we would like a refund for the next night because we had decided that we would check out one day earlier. However, the next morning, we found out that the water in the shower was clogged. Mum wasn’t able to take her bath. We did not get proper rest throughout the night and were unable to properly freshen up the next morning. We were forced to book a room at a different hotel at a high rate. Due to such a major inconvenience, we had asked the management for a full refund. The hotel staff apologized for the inconvenience and mentioned that they will forward my complaint to the management. However, according to the hotel's policy, I'm not eligible for a full refund because I had stayed at the hotel for one night regardless of the fact that I was left with no other choice since it was almost midnight.

    Check in process was fast but there's a RM 100 deposit to be paid in cash. The room is of good reasonable size but generally run down. Lightings are very dim in the whole room, including the bathroom area. The spare pillow was badly stained and the rest of the pillows are old and smelly. The bed sheets and duvet covers are worn out. The table top are worn out and need refurbishment. The reception and housekeeping services are very poor. I requested for some toilet rolls, hand towel and extra bottle of drinking water but they were not sent after an hour. I called up the reception again and they promised to deliver, yet nothing came after another hour. The carpet along the corridor are old, badly stained, dirty and unvacummed . The coffee served during breakfast is totally tasteless and most food were unplenished when we went for breakfast at 9am. The swimming pool rules for attire are not followed. Group of guests were swimming in their t-shirts, long pants and tudung. The only positive point is that it is beside our wedding venue next door.
